Attorney General Eric Holder described the United States Wednesday as a nation of cowards on matters of race, saying most Americans avoid discussing unresolved racial issues. In a speech to Justice Department employees marking Black History Month, Holder said the workplace is largely integrated but Americans still self-segregate on the weekends and in their private lives.

"Though this nation has proudly thought of itself as an ethnic melting pot, in things racial we have always been and continue to be, in too many ways, essentially a nation of cowards," said Holder, nation's first black attorney general.

Race issues continue to be a topic of political discussion, Holder said, but "we, as average Americans, simply do not talk enough with each other about race."

He urged people of all races to use Black History Month as a chance for frank talk about racial matters.

The biggest racists are 0Bama and his storm troopers. The vast majority of Americans no longer look at skin color, many minorities do not _want_ to do their part or become part of America. Preferring to live on the government cheese. There are plenty of great black people all around me, people who put aside their _special_ class status and joined in with the rest of us to be Americans.

Yes I do segragate in my private life. I choose to associate with people who obey the law, are financially stable, intelligent, raise good families, and love America. Fortunately that takes in most of the US and includes every religious belief and racial group. I don’t know what this asswipe is talking about.

Bet Eric Holder won't talk to Wayne Perryman, who researched the black loyalty to the Dems, and wrote, "UNFOUNDED LOYALTY"......Oprah REFUSES to talk with Mr. Perryman, a BLACK man....who, after researching and writing the book changed parties from Democrat...to...Independent Conservative.

Someday, the truth will win out....and Black people will turn on the likes of Oprah and Holder....and maybe Whites will turn on them, too....
