Attorney General Eric Holder described the United States Wednesday as a nation of cowards on matters of race, saying most Americans avoid discussing unresolved racial issues. In a speech to Justice Department employees marking Black History Month, Holder said the workplace is largely integrated but Americans still self-segregate on the weekends and in their private lives.
"Though this nation has proudly thought of itself as an ethnic melting pot, in things racial we have always been and continue to be, in too many ways, essentially a nation of cowards," said Holder, nation's first black attorney general.
Race issues continue to be a topic of political discussion, Holder said, but "we, as average Americans, simply do not talk enough with each other about race."
He urged people of all races to use Black History Month as a chance for frank talk about racial matters.

Delusional. Blacks are only 10% of the population. Race may be a big priority for blacks like Holder but it is not a big issue to white, Asians and most Hispanics

I will be glad to talk about race when there is a Caucasian History Month and a Caucasian Caucus in the House of Representatives and when every other race has their own month and their own caucus!
The attitude today is too PC to engage in a frank discussion about race. One is afraid of saying something that might result in accusations of intolerance or hatred (too easy to lodge a hate crime against someone for something that just may be a misunderstanding). It’s not worth the aggravation.

Lets see...a illegitimacy rate of over 75%, black males shooting other black males daily artificially inflating gun crime statistics, and a rate of welfare recepients thats sky high for your particular ‘demographic’ Mr Holder.
The only coward I see is you and your boss, who refuse to address these obvious problems publicly, without blaming ‘typical white people’.

If he got his wish—truly frank talk, rather than the PC claptrap he is comfortable with—he might prefer silence.
If he wants to see self segregation he should take a peek inside our prison systems. Preferablly for a period of five to ten.

Everyone make a mental note of this when this amateurish schmuck running the US Justice Department finally gets around to the issue of violent crime in America's metro areas.
