Brzezinksi fears class warfare. Not Mika. Zbigniew. And not Barney Frank on the Meet the Press. Real, blood-in-the-streets riots.
Jimmy Carter’s former National Security Adviser expressed his concern about the possibility of riots on Morning Joe today. To stave them off, he proposes the creation of a voluntary National Solidarity Fund, whose contributors would be the fat cats who have made out well in recent times.

It would take very little to accelerate the decline, accentuate the rage and initiate the vengeful acts.....in will snowball from there.
Those who have never experienced widespread civil unrest or civil warfare, take far too lightly the possibility and the horror of that occurring RIGHT HERE in our currently disjointed Republic.
They have already elected the "Thugocracy" that will finalize the slide to Socialism and worse.....

Yep, someone has been working on the kiddies for a long time now. If you believe in conspiracy theories, then how about promoting unrest as part of the plan - then slam down hard and enforce all kinds of new regulations. For the good of the country don't-yah-see?

I grow concerned when a mouthpiece for the current administration begins talkng about riots in the street. Adults don’t talk like this.

The fools, idiots, and parasites, in their infinate wisdom, have put the Democrats in power. The Democrats, in turn, have activated the mechanism to bring this about.
I do not know exactly when it will happen but I do know it will happen. I do believe that it will be sooner rather than later.

Let me re-phrase that....I believe you are correct.
All one has to do is cruise the internet and you see all these hints or outright warnings that it’s coming. Today I saw on a military blog that some Viet Nam vets were organizing a militia. Scary times indeed.

While there is ample reason to have riots I doubt the celebrity crazed, luxury seeking typical American will put forth the effort. Instead they’ll be occupied with finding the cheapest gas, searching out the newest bailout watching American Idol and, for the retiree types, avoiding reality on whatever golf course they can still afford.

Good point. Whether the oil and steel magnates did it out of Christian conscience or for good publicity, they did recognize the need to share some of their good fortune voluntarily.
Dr. Brzezinski is a Catholic, I believe, and perhaps his motives are sincere in this regard.
You are off-base here. Although Brzezinski is still a Democrat (from the days when the party was to the right of most of today's Republican senators) as well as a "new world order" theorist and a political "realist", he is also known for his independence of opinion, and was hawkish during the Carter Administration when the Democrat Party was dovish.
He also his Polish homeland to the traumatic and deadly Soviet/Nazi invasion when he was 11 years old. Decades later, after having attained influence here in the U.S., he worked to help free Poland from Soviet domination, forming an alliance with the former Polish Pope in support of the overthrow of Soviet rule in Poland, for which he was in 1995 awarded the Order of the White Eagle, Poland's highest civilian decoration.
Born in 1928, Brzezinski witnessed the rise of the Nazis as a child, since his Polish diplomat father was posted to Germany 1931-35, to the Soviet Union during Stalin's Great Purge '36-'38, and in 1938 to Canada. While the family was there, the Nazis and Soviets invaded Poland in 1939, preventing the family from returning to their homeland.
He remains on the faculty of the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies in DC. I may not agree with many of his positions, but fair is fair on this Forum.
