Now that Specter, Snowe, and Collins have collected their 40 pieces of silver we can expect them to begin rehabilitating their images before the next election cycle. They will be humble and contrite. They will claim they were acting in our best interests and were stabbed in the back by their honorable collegues across the aisle. They will swear they have seen the light and that they will toe the conservative GOP line if we will only forgive and reelect them. They might even make a few votes and speeches in favor of conservative causes. Don't buy it.
Like the elephant symbol of the GOP I will never forget. I will work hard to support their opponent in bothe the GOP primaries AND the general election even if it means contributing to a Democrat.
I also pledge to boycott any conservattive program or publication that participates in their effort to rehabilitate themselves or otherwise gives them a platform to expplain their actions. I will also withhold any support for the RNC if punitive measures are not taken and will not support any RNC candidate that fails to denounce them by name. Who is with me?
THEY NEED TO GO.
If they can’t tow the party line, well, then, they can’t tow the party line.
(That’s why the saying was invented, for cases just like this.)
Kennedy is too sick to vote...so this Hog’s trough of Pork will pass with a Vote from one of these 3 RINOs....

All that’s left is for them to hang themselves (as scripture foretold).
They need to be followed where ever they go by a crowd chanting “Traitor” and “You betrayed my children”. I mean where ever they go, DC or home. They need to be followed through the airport, they need to be met when their plane arrives in Maine or PA. They need to know that we’re not going to let them get away with it this time.

What ever she may call herself, she is NOT Catholic. With her solidly pro abortion record including voting against the ban on partial birth abortion Collins has demonstrated that she should not only be thrown out of the GOP, but out of the Catholic Church as well.
I am writing a stinging letter to Steele and enclosing a nice size check for a contribution, but with a big VOID across the front and informing him that WHEN something is done to sanction those 3, I will send him another check he can cash.
I also will contribute to ANYONE who runs against Specter--even if it is the most liberal Democrat ever.
I saw Collins and Specter on the floor of the Senate after the vote. There was no animosity from Repub senators. They chatted and smiled and then Collins went to the Dem side and chatted with them.
It made me sick! How could they be so friendly to those who doomed our country?
I sent this email tonight to both of Maine’s Senators:
I have gone to the web to search out anything and everything that is made or sold in Maine to make absolutely certain that I don’t send one single of my dollars to your socialist state. I am spreading the word to other like-minded individuals as well to totally boycott your state. The people who elected you do not deserve my support, and they will not get my $’s! I will, however, work very hard to make sure you are replaced in the next election, even if it is by a registered Democrat or Socialist. I resent you wearing an (R) when you certainly are NOT a Republican. If either of you had any integrity whatsoever, you would either proudly wear the (D) that is your true colors, or resign in disgrace. But I’m not holding my breath waiting for honor from y’all.
This is the same thing that they did to Wells Fargo, when they said that they did not want government money.

I read in the WSJ that the GOP was purposely not disciplining the three turncoats because the Democrats would then turn them into real heros, standing up against their party for what they believe in. It wouldn’t have changed their minds, any more than they could change that idiot from Vt from switching parties.
I’m just as angry as you are, but there is nothing we can do about it, not until the next election, that is.
The one thing that we could do is start a ridicule campaign.

No money to the GOP until they kick these three out. They are not Republicans. They rarely vote with us. Let them drain the Dems money for reelection.
I emailed the Maine Chamber of Commerce and LL Bean and told them that their US Senators have betrayed America and that I will never spend any of my money in Maine or with Maine retailers again.
I like LL Bean so I told them to contact me when they have left that dysfunctional state.
