I’m glad the House GOP held to its principals. First time in quite a while I’ve been happy with them.

Good. Hopefully this is a sign of things to come. Maybe the Republicans have finally grown some balls.

OF COURSE, this will be spun as, “I don’t know why the ‘Pubs didn’t support it, we had “tax cuts” in the bill.”
It’s just...ARGH!!!

I hear Pelosi is off to see the wizard.

The RINOs prone to flipping showed their stripes though. Keep an eye on them.

When you add up the entire Congress, more Democrats voted against it than Republicans voted for it.
7 Dems in the House voted “no.”
3 Pubbies in the Senate will vote “yes.”

How many Democrats voted against it?
To: twigs
So like the first one, it was bipartisan opposition and the support was strictly partisan.

Fabulous - I heard her yesterday claim that there would be 20-30 GOP votes this time.
She couldn’t even rein in her rebel Dems.

(There's a strange odor coming from the White House. Smells like BO.)
To: SueRae
There was never any doubt this would pass in the House was there? Our only chance there was to stop the vote itself. Failing in that it was a foregone conclusion that it would pass handily.
The Senate is a different story. It's very close there and without a couple of Republicans sell-out’s it can't pass.

3 Pubbies in the Senate will vote yes.
I still am holding out hope that this is not the case!
