An immigration reform organization is appalled that the Senate-House Conference Committee failed to include two important amendments in the House-approved "stimulus" package. Those two measures would have ensured that illegal immigrants will not be able to benefit from the bill.
On January 28, when the U.S. House passed its version of the economic stimulus package known as the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act, it included two important safeguards. One was an amendment that would reauthorize the E-Verify program for four years, while the other would require all companies receiving stimulus funds to verify that their employees are legally authorized to work in the United States.
However, following the Senate's passage of its own version, the Senate-House Conference Committee eliminated those safeguards from the final version of the bill...

When interest is added to Porkulus, trillions will be spent to supposedly create jobs. But illegals, not American citizens, will be getting a decent chunk of the jobs that this bill is supposed to create.

Good points....enough outcry and protest over the pro-illegal/anti-American provisions would stop some of the bad parts of this bill from being implemented

This is the required mindset. The American people have simply got to get off their duffs and DO something, if they want to keep what's left of their country.
The election of Barack Obama appears to be the historical moment when the government finally pushed the revolution button on The People.
It remains to be seen whether The People still have the nervous system to react to it.
We are on a hinge of history moment.
None of us can predict what may happen ahead.

I think one of the reasons we’re seeing such a frantic pace on the part of the Obots, is that they know full well that his lack of basic constitutional qualification to hold office will eventually catch up to him.
Call it a mad hat theory, but I suspect that they want to engineer our country into a position where Obama cannot be recalled or impeached under any circumstances. They’ll suspend portions of the Constitution, if necessary to do it.
Watch and listen closely to everything that he’s saying and doing at the present moment. If you look at all of this from a future perspective of hindsight, where Obama has essentially become a dictator, it makes perfect sense.
