Since the GOP is nothing with these RINOs, they might as well be nothing without these RINOs. The Bill started at approx. $800 billion and even with the RINO "cuts" it ends at approx. $800 billion.

Rush has promised to call them out at the next primary, and support the Repub running against them in the primaries. This could be a long couple of years to get to the 2010 elections!

It was pretty scary hearing Senators today saying they couldn’t believe they were being expected to pass the largest spending bill in US history when they haven’t even been given a copy to read yet.
Even if someone were a Democrat this should be pretty disturbing.

“Sens. Susan Collins and Olympia Snowe of Maine, and Pennsylvania’s Sen. Arlen Specter risked drawing the wrath of their fellow Republicans and of some constituents”
And they have it. Get them the heck out of the party!

Collins didn’t rule out the possibility of changing her mind after Senate and House negotiators work out the differences between the bills approved by the two bodies.
“It’s important we get this bill to the president’s desk as soon as possible,” she told FOX News. “But if the bill that comes back to the Senate from the conference committee is once again bloated with wasteful spending and it’s too expensive, then I’ll vote against it.”
..
A window? Keep up the pressure!

The wrath of SOME constituents? I’ve been trying to call Snarlin Arlen for 2 days now; yesterday I couldn’t get through (busy signal ALL DAY), and today, his “voice mailbox is full”. I would say he was deluged with phone calls; I call that wrath from a lot more than “some.

There’s alot more than a little ‘backlash’ at stake. More like the economic destruction of our Republic.

Do what I did. Email them and tell them that if they can’t stand shoulder to shoulder with Traditionally Conservative Republicans, they may as well change political parties. I even accused Collins of being a RINO.
If the shoe fits, throw it.

I have a theory of why Arlen Spector may have sold his vote on the stimulus bill!
Since Arlen is up for reelection in 2010, did Barack Obama possibly make a deal with Spector to only put up a token opponent against Spector in his campaign?
Obama already may have his veto proof senate with Arlen in his hip pocket!
What do you think of this theory?

"I hope they will look at the fact that we were able to cut $110 billion of unnecessary spending from this bill. I think that's a good accomplishment". Yep. Instead of pouring a full bucket of sh#t over the taxpayers' heads, they're only going to use a 7/8 full bucket.

Susan Collins follows closely in the footsteps of her formaer boss, WILLIAM COHEN, who got in bed with Billy Clintoooon as his Secretary of Defense!
Collins is one of the leading New England pimps of the Election Industry!
