We're in the worst recession since the Great Depression! We've got to take this serious. We must be bold. I know, let's bbq up some pork. Let's have a pork bbq big enough to feed the entire nation. But why stop there? Let's really be bold and bbq up enough pork to feed the entire world!

I do think Obama is panicking and I think that's unprecedented. However, Obama is really trying to sell his plan to America, and that is what a president ought to do.
I think Bush (for whatever reason) decided not to communicate his message directly to the people, and instead relied on Chris Matthews and Keith Olbermann to get the word out. Bad move.
Me too. I expected gradual "change". He's acting like he has to get it all done now. I wonder what's up with that because it makes him look like he's running scared.
Stocks were up 195 points(even with the bad employment numbers this morning) before he opened his big gloomy mouth. Down to 157 now and falling.

Dummy really played this whole thing wrong. He setup a false choice and so far the American people aren’t buying it. I saw on Fox this AM that even some of the liberals think he is a bit too hysterical with that whining and furrowed brow about this stimulus. But it confirms our suspicions that he is a hardcore Marxists and that in his mind ALL prosperity comes from government. His hyperventilating is because he firmly believes that unless this load of offal get passed the country will crumble. But sounds like they may have useless idiot in Susan Collins to get to cloture. When Lindsey Graham is against it you know it’s bad, bad. The way he should have played it is cut the bill by a third, take out the provisions for the real smelly crap, and the RINOS would roll right over. But he is insistent on passing it as is. Go ahead dummy, show us that dazzling intellect, teleprompter reading , affirmative action stooge.
