We're in the worst recession since the Great Depression! We've got to take this serious. We must be bold. I know, let's bbq up some pork. Let's have a pork bbq big enough to feed the entire nation. But why stop there? Let's really be bold and bbq up enough pork to feed the entire world!

Obama says now is not the time to worry about what’s actually in the bill. The only thing that is important is that it is BIG and BOLD! Oh, yeah. It’s partisan to worry about the details or debate whether or not we should go trillions of dollars deeper into debt. Only partisans would interfere with MY plan to save the world. I WON dammit!

If he can’t manage his time, how can he manage the executive branch. Not to mention the contempt for the press who is his only friend. I wonder how long it is before they turn on him. Primadonnas like that don’t like being put off....especcialy for some token they got elected.

That’s not what Carry_Okie said. S/he said that if a president wants to be successful, he or she needs to lead and carry his or her message to the people. Personally, I believe President Bush was reacting to the Clinton presidency where he jumped in front of a camera every time he thought someone else might get there first with his constant “me too” message. And President’s Bush refusal to do that was refreshing. At first. But eventually, leadership means communicating the message. It’s a major part of leadership. Our former president did not do that well.
Obama talks out both holes. He owns this baby regardless and it's his own damn fault. He is now proven that he is incompetent.

This stimulus bill is everything but....in reading the details, I have no clue as to what will actually stimulate the economy.
I'll bet he is. In the neighborhoods he organized crack was what drove the economy!

IMO, he needs to ram this pork laden bill through to pay back all those he owes for allowing him to rise out of the Chicago political sewer!
It’s too important a part of his socialist vision for America. What worries me is that I thought he was going to lead gradually to this. I didn’t expect to get it rammed down our throats the first several weeks. What he has in mind next worries me even more.
Obama's close friend, MA Gov Deval Patrick, gave a speech not long ago in which he came darn close to saying that all the problems in the state were the peoples' fault because they were suffering from malaise. He didn't use the word, but the speech reeked of Jimmy Carter.

This isn't selling his program to the American people. I just watched a sitting PRESIDENT panic over what by all rights should be a moderate economic recession.
WTF do you think this man is going to do the first time a nuke goes off inside the United States?? His incompetence (or even the appearance) and his lack of class is really showing.
