I just had an interesting experience with calling Dianne Feinstein's office in Washington requesting that she not support the stimulus bill (might as well spit in the wind, I know.) I talked to a young man and gave him an earful--polite--but nevertheless an earful. I told him that the Krauthaumer(sp) article in the Washington Post today pretty much summed everything up. He said to me, "Which article did you say?" I repeated it, he wrote it down and said he would look it up and bring it to her attention. What if anything can be made of that? Got rid of some of my stress, at the very least.
She will attack Fox news on the senate floor waving the article around

Good for you. The more of us who call those die hard liberals the more likely we are to influence them. As you say, it was probably a waste of time but if more of us would do it... ??? ... Maybe not!

How about feigning interest in what you said in order to appease your position. Also to get you off the phone thinking “Hey, she might actually listen to me”.
Today, in spite of grim job numbers, the market is headed up. Killing the stimulus bill seems to stimulate the stock market.
Thanks for that Krauthammer article link. As Jim Carrey would say, that was smokin’! Given Krauthammer’s commentary in the leadup to the election, it also appears to be quite the epiphany.

Feinstein is one of the main backers and proponents of Porculus. You nor millions of CA voters will NOT change her.
Same here so I called their local offices and got right in. Said they would pass on my feelings.

See, it doesn’t matter if we will change her mind or not. We just can remind her that she works for We the People, and that we have the ultimate RIGHT to toss her out should we need to.
