Obama is thanking House Libs for their patriotism... now warning congressmembers "not to come to the table with the same tired arguments (i.e. opposing Porkulus Maximus)... he welcomes debate -- but -- not without "new ideas"... we can't embrace the losing formula that only tax cuts will help... can't ignore our addicition to foreign oil... if we are driving a hybrid it doesn't matter if you are driving over a cliff (??)... the American people expect us to think anew... uh, uh, aren't you tired of the arguments of the past? The voters sent us here to break the status quo, the moment our leadership meets the challenges of our times... more...

Obama is getting to sound more an more like Olbermann every day. His lies and half truths are appalling.

It is my understanding that the Obama News Network, MSNBC, did not cover this speech. I guess they knew that Obama was going to sound pretty lame. They knew and wanted to protect the cultists.

For a few months.
But they will not encourage confidence in investors, nor create a value addition to our economy. The jobs are not jobs that really produce anything, from which a profit can be made. I mean the fact is that these are fence painting jobs, without any real lasting economic stimulation effect. The effect is to make Americans dependent on the government. That is the desired effect.
The Dems know this stimulus package will fail. They want it to, so they can further the extremity of socialism in our country, by destroying our free market economy,and creating a privileged class of true believers who will become a ruling class off of government handouts, ALL loyal to the left.
Thats the way it works in Socialist States. The government decides who gets rich and who stays poor.No more free market. That is what Obama's true goal is. And you only thrive to wealth if your ideology is "right."
Investors will leave this country in droves, and head for Canada, and Brazil.Half of them already have ( Dow is down about 50%), and it looks like they won't be back as long as Obama is a so called "president."
It's going to be a long 4 years ! This man has absolutely NO respect for the OFFICE.
