I agree 100% with you. I DO want the socialist agenda to fail, but I do not want a president who is a stark, raving lunatic. An incompetent like Jimmy Carter we can handle, but someone who is truly unbalanced is VERY dangerous and puts all Americans at risk. Not only at risk from the economic chaos, but physically at risk from attacks from our enemies.
It's not something to be scoffed at, it's truly frightening. This goes beyond partisan politics and toward self preservation and national preservation. I share your concern.
I hope if it gets too bad and becomes too apparent, that the adults will step in and take over. Biden is a doofus, but I would much rather have him at the helm right now.

Actually, according to CBS News (for what it's worth), polls say that popular support for Obama's stimulus package is dropping significantly by the day. In January, support was at above 60%, and today it is at 51%.
What that says is that people supported it more when they didn't know what it really was. The more they understand, the less they support it. That's why he is trying to shove it through ASAP, before support drops below 50%.
Speak truth to power, Republicans, and the truth will win.
Googling AF-1 operating costs comes in about $60,000/hour average from a few different sources. Guessing 131 mile flight would take around 40+ - min each way that trip cost $78,000 for flight time alone.
And this guy has the gall to talk out about how other’s spend their money?
Remember, the replacement is Biden. Who is after that? WOW...
That is our one hope. That the military will go against all their training about the chain of command, and refuse to carry out any operation against American civilians.
If it has to happen, I hope it happens sooner rather than later, after he has opened the military back open to gays. We stand a much better chance of not being at the end of an American rifle if it isn’t handled by a pchsyologically unfit, socially oppressed, tinker bell.

The camera shows the O acending the stairs (coatless) and as he climbed, I thought "he's not going to turn and acknowledge the assembled (press?) with a wave or a salute; he's just going to march straight into the aircraft.
And that's EXACTLY what he did! Unbelievable. Such total self-absorption. Blech!

He waxed nostalgic about campaigning after campaigning for the room. He likes the applause and crowd approval. Actual work as a president isn't nearly as fun--no crowds cheering in the Oval Office; all those pesky Republicans and even Democrats who have to answer to their constituents about an oinker of a bill. He tried to put lipstick on the ever-growing hog but is irritated that he's actually having to work on something that supposed to be a done deal on Coronation Day.
He needed to hear clapping and gathered a group of yay-sayers for a personal pep rally. He addressed them exclusively, never once looking straight into the camera which represented the rest of America; I found that odd. I don't recall Pres. Bush ever avoiding looking at us so deliberately, even when he had to say something he knew wouldn't be popular with his own base.

had lunch with some folks who I would guess are dems and like idea of bashing the CEOs. Even they are tired of his voice already.
The Dems can pass this without any Republican support. The Dems will be committing suicide because the economy is going to go from sputtering to a nosedive crash. All the idiots who voted for Jimmy Carter II are going to wake up out of their utopian dreams to a real nightmare.
