Good advice! I finally read AS in the months leading up to the election. It has changed the way I look at everything and reaffirmed everything I learned on my late father’s knee about the evils of marxism and the values of conservative ideals!
I read The Fountainhead years before, but was intimidated by the sheer volume of Atlas Shrugged. Glad I took it on now. I wish that a Hollywood mogul, that believes in free enterprise and is not a biased liberal democrat, would make it into a movie.
There are rumors of such, but I fear that they will trash every timeless American ideal in the book by the time they are finished. They always do!

He’s even more evil. Obama has some of the same personality traits a Ted Bundy, Charles Manson, Hitler, etc.
Anti-social, egotistic, narcicist, megalomaniac and ultimately neurotic. No difference than a Dennis Rader, in all outward appearances, including within his immediate family, he was a normal, hardworking, church going, father and husband.
People with these types of disordes are usually exposed before they can gain power over many people. For those who are able to stay behind a mask and gain power, the outcome is never good.
Notice how angry Obama sounds now that he’s been sworn in. How condensending to the media he’s become, how he is treating those in Washington who do not walk in exact lock-step with him.
His mask is coming of, quickly. He knows he’s in a position of having power over literally the entire world. Hitler only dreamed of that reality. Obama in his twisted world view most likely believes he is untouchable. Now he can show his true self, without worries. It’s the citizens of this country that are now worrying.
For an interesting read, check out a psychological report put together in 1968 when the full extent of the holocaust was known and enough people were in prison or in exile and willing to talk.
