Let this be a lesson to us. When we take the White House again, I want our President to start on day one. For all my dislike of Obama, the man has been implementing his world view since the first moments of his administration.
Our guys get in there wring their hands and melt down thinking they may offend someone by not breathing just the way they should.
I am very very very disgusted right now. And frankly, it’s not all focused on a man who should never have been president. Some of it is focused on folks who didn’t govern in a manner that would make a man like this incapable of winning an election.
Our team screwed up royally. There were so many lost opportunities, so many things that could have been done to make our side look like the grownups in the room with regard to lending practices, sound fiscal policy, shutting down groups that were using government funds to advance liberalism.
If it were just the Democrats that would be bad enough. Unfortunately, it isn’t.
... and this will NOT go over well with the general population who overwhelmningly want us to get more of our own oil.
I sure hope the libtards are squealing with giddiness. The rest of us are going to be paying through the nose for energy
Interesting point. If drilling near parks is so bad, why not ban it everywhere? Not that anyone in their right mind should favor that.
No more ‘reaching across the aisle’. If any republican does this, banish him there. It’s an all or nothing, winner take all game.

I guess he figures with Pelosi stating 500 million are losing their jobs every month, nobody needs fuel anymore.
Do you really think that Obama would be for more energy drilling when Sarah Palin is four-square for it? Again Obama hates Sarah’s guts; he’s not about to concede that she is right, which she is. He’d rather cut off his nose to spite his face, but of course we know Obama and his merry men and women are also ideologically committed as well to depleting America’s energy reserves and raising the price for a gallon of gas so Americans don’t exercise their independence by driving their cars.

McCain now has a gang of ten as I understand it, weaseling his way to relevance. Oh the grand design of reaching across the isle, compromising your values away for the thousandth time.
In a microcosm, it’s just what Obama plans to do with the terrorists. “I’ll just negotiate with them.” Okay Barack, but negotiating is only possible if “BOTH” sides give in.
What are we prepared to give in to terrorists? What are these “Conservatives” prepared to give in to Obama?
Can there be an good $850 billion dollar stimulus? I don’t see that as a possibility.
If we sign on this this one, there will be a next one, and another and another and another...
Where does it end? It should end here. No more bailouts...
Some of the Obamists will NEVER get it. Even when they are living in cardboard boxes and standing in soup kitchen lines, they will still be singing his praises and talking about “Hope and Change” with that hypnotized, zombie-like look on their faces.
Not all the owners, certainly, but the founding ones, yes.
There are notable exceptions, like Charlie Crisp (who is my friend and bitches about how liberal certain folks are).

I think when Gasoline prices hit $3.00 again, Obama’s and Dechristopher’s pictures should be posted on every gas pump. Darn it, these bastards are costing this country excellent jobs. secure energy not to mention national security.
Indeed, but I have no faith anymore in the GOP. They've had the opportunity twice in my life time (so far) to take the reins and do the right thing and ended up falling prey to the dems and PC pressures. The only thing they have accomplished is to slow down the ride toward the cliff.
I hate to sound so pessimistic in my posts, but I believe this nation has run it's course. Short of a major, and I mean major attack on the US, or perhaps even WWIII, I don't believe it can be fixed by voting or peaceful means.
I'm Glad I got to see the better days.
