Axelrod thinks Daschele withdrawing says something about his character. What?!!! Is this Chicago change we can not believe in?

Axelrod is an idiot. Had nothing been said about Tommy’s tax issue the guy would have proceeded on and been approved to the post. He never would have offered to withdraw under the pretense that, “I have to tell you that I have had a tax problem and therefore am not fit for this position.”

No, what it says is Obama knew getting him confirmed was going to be a bigger problem then needed so he asked him to withdraw his name.

They got Geithner through ...

Agreed!

If he had any, he wouldn't have been in the position of tax cheat and liar.

And don’t forget that Obama’s spokesman said the bar they have set is the highest of any administration. Ever.

Uh, the not paying taxes part says more about his character than anything.

Idiots!

One question. Is it now okay to call Rangel, Geithener, and Dasche unpatriotic?

Daschel’s withdrawal speaks VOLUMES about Geithner’s character!

You see, the higher they set the bar the easier it is to walk under it without hitting your head.

Little Tommy Daschle can get under a two-foot limbo bar without even ducking!

No, this says something about Obama’s character. And judgment. And intelligence.

You’d only have to do a five minute search on FR to figure out that Mr. and Mrs. Daschle are up to their respective and collective wazoos in conflicts of interest and corruption. And weren’t they lobbyists, too?

Dashsle has many more probs than taxes. He dropped out because there was a LOT more to be spilled.

CNN told me that Daschle withdrew because of his respect for Obama.

Well, you have to understand Axelrod’s standard of integrity. Axelrod actually ran the campaign of Mayor Street of Philadelphia for two terms, before Axelrod worked for Obama.
