S.Korea downplays N.Korea's vow to drop peace pact

I wonder how having your head in the sand feels? Good grief, wake up people!

"He knows obama won’t do anything to stop him."

Ike was the only president to stop the KoreaComs.

Folks, they’ve been rattling sabres for so long the sabres are stumps. That being said (and having been stationed there 12 years ago) we were convinced it was our turn to take them on, as everyone before us and everyone after us has thought time to time. They’ve got the tools, and you never know when chia pet will get the will.

Hope he doesn’t because it would be a freaking mess with Seoul in range of thousands of pieces of arty and rockets. The streets would run thick with the blood of innocent civilians, with casualties in the first day being in the tens of thousands.

Where’s the mandatory “not this shit again” picture?

"He's dead, Jim."

RE- the Pueblo. That picture, like the very thought of what was done to her crew makes me half blind with hate.

A coincidence? Slashing the military budget sends signal
of weakness.

The enemies of the U.S.A. have sized up Zer0 and appear
not to be impressed or intimidated.

Hopefully they are just joking because that is a bad spot to be if hostilities break out (between Seoul and the DMZ). I remember a few years back when the ROK was ramping up the anti-military rhetoric, we threatened to pull many of these troops because they were going to be in a meat grinder if the North attacked.

I think the chiapet just saw all the trillions being printed...

Why would he need to go to war with anyone except out of vanity? NK is one of the largest printers of excellent forged U.S. money!

“This will be worth keeping an eye on and we will see if our new president will cave or be a man.”

This would be a great betting pool idea. Bush scared them off by his quick reaction against China when they grabbed one of our aircraft.

Some tin hat dictator will make a move against us sooner than later.

Agree. I think I’m starting to become an isolationist. :)

F them (ALL of THEM-whoever THEM might be) and the horses they rode in on.

On second thought, 0bama is the messiah, send him over there to fix it.

From the website of the Workers World Party:

"With his leadership, the Korean people defeated the Japanese colonial occupation and soon after brought about the first defeat of the U.S. imperialist military machine. ...

Workers World Party values our close, comradely relations with the Workers Party of Korea very highly. We are proud to have known Kim Il Sung as a great leader and a comrade in the international communist movement. ..."

With comradely solidarity, Sam Marcy Chairperson, Workers World Party" (1994):

Photo of Charlie Rangel at the podium of a March 19th, 2005 Workers World Party/Troops Out Now rally in Harlem, New York. The occasion marked the 2nd anniversary of the start of the Iraq war. The photo comes from the Workers World Party website.

Also appearing at this "peace" rally with the demonRat Charlie Rangel, now chairman of The House Ways and Means Committee, were Saddam Hussein lawyer, Ramsey Clark and convicted terrorist enabler/attorney, Lynne Stewart. Clark, with Workers World Party, started up that other 'peace' group, A.N.S.W.E.R. Clark also heads the International Action Center and was actually once Attorney General of the United States under democrat LBJ.

Especially when these meglomanics want a “legacy”. I’m sure he also sees Obama’s ascent as the best opportunity that will ever be handed to North Korea. If NK invades, you can bank that Obama will not send more troops to reinforce SK.
