GALVESTON, Texas – A slain toddler tried to stop her mother and stepfather from beating her to death by reaching out to her mother and saying, "I love you," a prosecutor told jurors Tuesday. The pleas from 2-year-old Riley Ann Sawyers didn't stop her mother, Kimberly Trenor, from continuing to brutalize her, assistant district attorney Kayla Allen said in her opening statement at Trenor's murder trial.

Maybe that will be good thing, prisoner especcailly hardcore ones don’t take kindly to child murderers like them they might not make it in a year.

Susan Smith is in an institution less than ten miles from where I live. Last week, I talked with one of the female guards from that institution. She said that SS actually has a pretty decent life there, and is popular with the other inmates, and well liked by the guards.
She, and those like her should never know a moments joy after their particular crimes. The report I received concerning the status of Susan Smith just solidified my support for the death penalty.
Oh...that’s different. I’d read stories that she was harassed and smacked around by the inmates on a regular basis. If she’s having a good life, I take it back then. She should have the most miserable life imaginable, cruel and unusual be d*****d!

I couldn’t read past the first sentence. What I would give to be able to shoot the monster between the eyes. Two bullets for the mother even though it’s a waste of the second bullet.

And some folks just cannot understand why I have little use for the majority of humanity.
Were these two cretins in my presence, I would gladly and gleefully eviscerate the both of them.
Those that have no capacity for compassion to the helpless child certainly deserve no compassion from me.

Hmm, your comments might actually make me change my view on the death penalty, which I've been against. I thought that prison was a fate worse than death, but I guess not.
This is the chastisement we are receiving for not doing everything in our power to end the culture of death. These evil acts are just the tip of the iceberg, America has turned a dreadful corner and may now be well beyond the point of no return. This precious little girl knew more about Love in the moments before her death than many may ever know or recall perhaps. To enter the kingdom we must first become like children. Riley (like Christ) is praying for the forgiveness of her killers and she is likely begging God to lead them to repentance that (sadly I think) they will probably reject. Don’t get me wrong these monsters need to be punished but what’s coming to them for all eternity is beyond horrible and does us all great harm. Jesus Christ desires not one soul be lost.

I couldn’t read past the excerpt. The only comfort is to know the horror is over and she’s with God now.

Those words are actually inscribed on my great, great grandfather’s gravestone. He was murdered and the culprit never caught.
I hope there is justice for this poor child. May she rest in peace, I am sorry I am emotionally overwhelmed as I am typing. I tried to hold back the tears but that quote: I love you Mommy, made me lose it. I have to take something now my heart is racing too fast. You confirmed my suspicion that Ziegler was not the child’s biological father. Ziegler is the same type of animal as the live-in boyfriends that kill women’s children.
if you don’t want the baby, you can drop it off at a fire station or a hospital.
