Hell, I keep mine at 66° in the winter, if they do that I might just turn it up to 69° or 70°.
I wanna get goosebumps in summer. Nothing beats stepping into a chilly room in the middle of summer.
Brrrrr! I get cold if the temp is below 70 degrees. LOL! My comfort range is narrow - - 70 degrees to 80. Outside that, I'm too cold or too warm
We keep it around 78 degrees in the house during the summer. The A/C is more to cut the humidity than anything.
“We can’t drive our SUVs and eat as much as we want and keep our homes on 72 degrees at all times ... and then just expect that other countries are going to say OK,” Obama said.
“That’s not leadership. That’s not going to happen,” he added.
You'll feel the chill instantly...
Aren’t they now happy they voted the Labor of love for the people into office.
Sound familar? The same thing just happened here.
I, myself, prefer to avoid air conditioning in hot climates. I like using shaded areas, building with large thermal mass, desert coolers and fans in order to keep things tolerable. Then when I go outside, I am ready for the heat and enjoy the day, even at 105F. If that’s too hot, I’ll move.
But that is my personal choice. I understand that the vast majority of people choose to refrigerate themselves. Who am I to dictate that they cannot?
Or Houston - situated in a very red state.
evaporative cooling = sweating
You can have my air conditioner when you pry it out of my cold (brrrr!) dead fingers!
Well caves are pretty cool too...
Lets just devolve from a modern society to cave dwellers...
That will improve the environment... Who cares about people...
I was talking to a friend in Australia last night, he said it was 107 degrees.
No A/C? Come on!
We don't all live in Michigan. Down South it gets hot and humid.
WASHINGTON With utilities under growing pressure to turn to renewable energy sources, Alabama Power Co. is exploring the option of making electricity solely by burning wood or other "biomass."

We truly do live in the age of stupidity.
Don't know how you can stand it but to each his/her own.
If you have other family members are they ok with this?
Yeah, screw that.
Do tell. The only ones I know here in steamy GA require that the home be purpose built for that effect. And even then, I want AC.
We cant drive our SUVs and eat as much as we want and keep our homes on 72 degrees at all times ... and then just expect that other countries are going to say OK, Obama said.
do we give a flip about what other countries think?
