Wrong. Look at the internals of the poll. 58% said Palin was treated unfairly by the press. Only 35% said she was treated fairly, and most of those were Democrats. 85% of Republicans and 58% of independents said she was treated unfairly.

Bottom line: The majority of people know what the drive-by says about Palin is moose manure. They aren’t buying it. The media campaign against her is an EPIC FAIL.

By the time four years have passed, even fewer people will buy into the media lies they will have told about her.

Seems you’ve exposed yourself as the idiot by resorting to name calling in your first reply. Who the hell said anything about revolt? Take your doom and gloom attitude to some other forum that welcomes it. You are utterly depressing with your defeatist attitude. With ‘conservatives’ like you, liberals will always win.

Just curious, what were your feelings in 1976 when Nixon resigned, moderate Ford defeated conservative hero Ronald Reagan, thereby cementing the Rockefeller wing’s control of the Republican party. Ford went on to lose the biggest bubbling idiot ever in Jimmy Carter. The Democrats had more house seats in that year, and they had 61 senate seats. By all accounts, conservatism was defeated and Democrats were firmly ensconced in all branches of government with a seemingly endless reign.

I’m not happy about Obama and this current crop of socialists in congress, but I will admit that the country, and the conservative movement has been in worse straits.

Wrong, Scooter. She never called you a RINO. She DID put 'conservative' in quotes, but that wasn't until post #82, so you weren't responding in kind.

Sarah scares the hell out of the media

And when they FINALLY realize they CANNOT put her lights out they will NEED therapy and treatment.

For whatever reasons, I believe Sarah Palin is ONE of those individuals AMERICA wants to EXPERIENCE. I believe she WILL return BIGGER and BETTER.

Now you’re just lying. Go back and quote me specifically where I called you a RINO.

Why do the 10% seem so loud?

Let's see... Republicans are now only 27% of registered voters, and 85% support her...

Wow, she has at least a stunning 23%! WOO-HOO!

While they are important for fundraising, it's also very important to look at the DEM and IND voters. Adding more viters in states that are already red doesn't do us any good as we already have those electoral votes. We need someone who can cut into the battleground states, too...and Gov. Palin will have to overcome image problems for that. I hope she's spending the next few years preparing.

You don’t have to agrue with me either, I prefer it that way! ;)

I’m no expert on him. He did some good things but also went overboard in office. His 1904 dem opponent Judge Alton Parker was a Bourbon democrat and may have been an ok prez (he was a loyal party man and backed socialist Bryan though).

In 1912 he lost his mind and campaigned as a rank socialist. Still he got most of the GOP vote! and allowed Wilson to win. Wilson campaigned as a conservative, he lied.

BHO and Hill (and the other also ran rats) named him their favorite Republican President of the 20th Century.

Taft in ‘12.

Some things have a circular way of coming back at us. :-) (The GOP seems to be determined to embrace the shift toward socialism)

Tie this to the Rasmussen - 55 percent want the party to become more like Palin. Both are good news, different views of the same phenomenon.
