The President-elect has appointed overseers for health care, economic policy, counter-terrorism, regulation, and for energy and the environment, with more similar appointments possible.
He has also retained the foreign policy structure of a national security adviser within the White House and a secretary of state outside.
Morris Reid, a former adviser to Bill Clinton, said: "You've got these csars running around the White House. It's going to be too many chiefs.
"You've got to remember that Barack is the only commander-in-chief. But he is setting up something like a think tank where you have a lot of super stars running around, ministers without portfolio that makes for a troubling situation when he's trying to make a decision."
Stanley Herschensohn, a deputy special assistant to Richard Nixon, said the "extra layer" of people being created by Mr Obama was "bound to create conflicts".
"The cabinet officers will be answerable to the president's csars and not to the president. This has not happened on this scale before and I predict there will be more friction in this administration than previous ones," he added.

The Battle Royale will be between the Cabinet folks and the Czars - everyone trying to establish and protect their turf.
Would it be unkind to say, “I hope they chew each others throats”.

These leftwing press jerks and their idea of a “superstar” is pretty ridiculous. So Obamalama-fafafa is going to have a bunch of evil socialist big govt crooks running around with big egos and each doing his best to create a totalitarian state where the Rats never lose power again. Superstar isn’t the word I would use. “Looters” is more apropos. Traitors. Or Just plain. Criminals. It’s all the same. These evil fools run around pushing their crackpot theories without thought of all the damage they cause, except to say, “Hey I ruined 10 thousand people’s lives to day. Ain’t power cool?”

Obama will soon name his Csar of Csars.
Hillary’s hearing made it sound like she thinks she is going to be president. Then Susan Rice’s hearing made it sound like she thinks she will be Secretary of State.
This will be interesting.
I hope they have all read the laws of the constitution and how it affects their job security.
If Obama is an usurper then he has no legal power to nominate anything except his own resignation.
And from a legal viewpoint his nominees hold no official status.
Frankly, that is a very likely scenario considering all the personalities involved.
Obama has no executive experience, no managerial experience, he's never run a business - no nothing. The Left is making the same failure that it is always making - hire a bunch of pointy eggheads from elite universities thinking they can "change the world."
I’m with you....4 months.....I think that’s been the plan...put her in at Sec State..then let her screw something up (according to Obama) and demand/request her resignation....bingo....she’s gone from the Senate AND from the Administration....
Nobody seems to have remarked that there are two common ways of transcribing the original Cyrillic: Tsar or Czar.
What’s a Csar?
He will still be surrounded by a bunch of Clintonoids. He’ll have to start giving them the boot as well. This is going to get ugly for “team” Obama.
