There have been no recorded quakes since 1/6/2009. The last magnitude 3+ occurred 1/2/2009. At one point there were over 290 quakes on the list. The swarm appears to be over.

"Eruptions of the Yellowstone volcanic system have included the two largest volcanic eruptions in North America in the past few million years; the third largest was at Long Valley in California and produced the Bishop ash bed. The biggest of the Yellowstone eruptions occurred 2.1 million years ago, depositing the Huckleberry Ridge ash bed. These eruptions left behind huge volcanic depressions called calderas and spread volcanic ash over large parts of North America (see map). If another large caldera-forming eruption were to occur at Yellowstone, its effects would be worldwide. Thick ash deposits would bury vast areas of the United States, and injection of huge volumes of volcanic gases into the atmosphere could drastically affect global climate. "
Global climate change I can believe in...

Some observers are nonetheless warning of imminent catastrophe. And, of course, we are all gonna die.

With that and the solar storms, it’s a good thing Obama is putting a stop to man made Global Climate Cooling/Warming.

The gloom-and-doomers are jumping with glee....yeah...a new catastrophe.
Quick, run to your congressman and get a study grant to look into this phantom volcano for the next 25 years and issue weekly "sky is falling" reports for Americans to knee jerk to and send their childrens inheritance to some algorian nutcase.
Coming soon..."Volcano Credits." I think I might set up an eBay store to sell these.
The truth about this in inconvenient as the quakes have subsided.

Hundreds of small earthquakes at Yellowstone National Park in recent weeks have been an unsettling reminder for some people that underneath the park's famous geysers and majestic scenery lurks one of the world's biggest volcanoes.Yellowstone is living proof that, no matter what happens, nature can, and will survive.

Such an eruption would certainly take attention away from the current poltical situatio, i.e., a collapsing ecocomy, uncertainty in the Middle East, the price of oil, the access to universal health care, global warming and carbon tax proposals, and the ever-present fear of hangnails and hair falling out.

...however, and geologists say even a minor lava flow is extremely unlikely any time soon. That's what the government said in the movie, too.........

I heard that the ground is so hot in the northern section that you can’t walk on it.

In some charismatic circles, emails circulate that a PERFECT STORM is brewing, 5 fronts are expecting to collide, because we haven´t been paying attention to God´s Design...·1 an economic storm, 2 a spiritual storm 3, political chaos, 4, cultural calamities, 5 geo physical upheavals.
