Dennis and Sue were married December 31 by Rabbi Michael Gotlieb at his synagogue, Kehillat Ma'arav, in Santa Monica, California.
The former Susan Reed, known to all as Sue, was raised in the Los Angeles area...

So, was writing the “women need to always be willing” articles so his new wife knows what is expected?
I know. My wife was twice divorced before she married me. She's a truly wonderful person and we've been happily married for 22 years.
I am an expert on various diets. Weight 270. Don't see myself as a hypocrite. Just very weak and lack of discipline.
What? Many do have issues with that!
What? The lady was married before (she has children) so maybe that’s her ex-husband’s name. Many women keep the name if they have had children as it is less confusing - the schools, doctors, etc. all see a mom with the SAME name as the kids.
And even if it IS her maiden name, did you ever hear of people anglicizing their names b/c of prejudice????? Jews have done it for years as have certain other Eastern Europeans who don’t want to be harassed.
Yes, but I don’t think a person who is unmarried or divorced is necessarily unable to give good advice on marriage. A doctor doesn’t have to have cancer to give advice or treatment on cancer.
Boy, you aren’t kidding. Unreal.
I've been using 1024x786 @ 16 bits as a minimum resolution since 1992. Though the DSL I use is not nearly as fast as cable, using a locked down computer behind all sorts of hardware and software obfuscations does seem to cause the occasional problem with access.
Wouldn't the use of the term "broad" cause some to go apoplectic?
lol
for the record I don’t know one Jew in my life who changed their name because of prejudice
some celebrities changed their name because maybe Smith sounded better on the screen than Finklestein.
everywhere I lived where Jews were in abundance they hardly had to worry about prejudice, hell they were the establiushment
Manhattan, Miami, Los Angeles
and btw....Jewish women are in my experience the most likely to hyphenate the last name or keep daddy’s.....far and away
i’m betting she’s just another shiksa playing along with the Jewish wedding to make Prager’s kinfolks happy in case there are spawn
So...you know few Jews, eh?
I think you are assuming that b/c the Jews you KNOW have Jewish names that they are the ONLY Jews you know. Now it’s me who is LOL.
As all of us are sinners, are we not allowed to judge anyone?
We all uphold standards that we may not be able to reach ourselves and thank heaven we do. However, in some cases, those in a "teaching" position should quietly go away when they cannot even come close.

Paladin2: Why not post an observable link? Otherwise, what is your propose here?
I thought Paladin2 was being unfair so I defended you by posting: So someone like me would know it was worth clicking the link to see a picture. I dont generally click links.
You and John W started yelling at me. Now I’m hurt and misunderstood. No good deed goes unpunished.
I’m sorry.
Are you trying to make a point.
kids today have been programmed to not know the difference between an opinion on values or behavior and judgement
Somebody did, but its quality is very poor, in addition to being pretty big. The color is so bad I was forced to download the image and fix it just to get it out of my head!
I misunderstood. I’m sorry. I apologize.
A friend of mine’s father changed his name back in the day, so they couldn’t sound more WASP-like now.
Please see post 57. :)
Me, too. I had to look up TTIUWOP and then I started getting mixed up, LOL.
