CNN Places Sarah Palin With 2008's Criminals, Sex Addicts, and the Corrupt
Newsbusters ^ | January 4, 2009 | Warner Todd Huston

Posted on 01/04/2009 11:52:27 AM PST by SolidWood

Showing they have no sense of morality, no grasp of corruption and no understanding of what defines a criminal, CNN gives us another one of those ubiquitous year in review stories, this one titled "Politicians who fell from grace in 2008." In this one, CNN has decided to reveal for us their top eight politicians that found 2008 to be a "career-buster" because of their "crimes and misdemeanors" or their outrageous controversies.

CNN features corruption mired Rod Blagojevich, the sex crazed Elliot Spitzer and John Edwards, and the criminal bribe taker Ted Stevens among four others. Each of these men in the CNN list have either been convicted of criminal actions, are indicted for corruption, lost their positions, been drummed out of their party, or are soon to face jail time. Among these eight criminals, however, is a name that doesn't belong among this class of serial abuser of the public trust. It won't be shocking to note that among the worst sex criminals, bribe takers, liars and thieves in politics for 2008, CNN ridiculously included the name of Governor Sarah Palin.

Palin, however, has done nothing remotely like what these other political ner-do-wells have done. She did not take bribes, she did not indulge in sexual dalliances with co-workers or call girls, she did not get booted from her party or lose her job as Governor. She is not under indictment nor does she face jail time, yet CNN includes her in a list with Rob Blagojevich, John Edwards, Kwame Kilpatrick, Larry Langford, Tim Maloney, Elliot Spitzer and Ted Stevens.

The media will politically assassinate any GOP contender from here on out. They did it to all the GOP candidates in 2008

Well, not quite.

After all the GOP let the democrats and the media (a branch of the DNC) pick McCain to run on their ticket.

May CNN be next.

Ted Turner has a long way to go.

Don't count on it being any time soon.

EXACTLY.....I believe we should all be using the term “GOEBBELS” with EVERYONE we know, repeatedly, for the next 4 years...to describe the press.....imprint it in their brains....repeatedly....and explain what it means, and if they are too stupid to understand...EXPLAIN it again....in other words....make them KNOW THE TRUTH by repeating it like CNN, and other media do.

The bipartisan gang rape of Sarah Palin continues. And it was John "Leave 'em Behind" McCain that slipped the roofie in her drink.

An Anecdote:

I was at a dinner party in the People's Republic a couple of days ago. I overheard a couple of Boulder liberals discussing Governor Palin: "She's unsophisticated, she lacks foreign policy experience, etc." Then (and I am not making this up) one turned to the other and said "I didn't know Alaska was the largest state, I thought it was Texas." The other one said "When did Alaska join the Union, anyway. Wasn't it 1968?"

These people are just stupid. That's why they fall for Democrat lines.

The only thing "exposed" here is CNN's hate for Palin, its leftist agenda to destroy her and its extreme bias.

Hey CNN..

The jokes on you, liberal scum.

"CNN will go away LONG before Sarah Palin goes away, yep..!"

CNN, the NYT, MSNBC, WAPO aren't going anywhere. There are too many Republicans that have embraced this mythology that the establishment media is in it's death throws.

If we don't start picking candidates that can comport themselves in an articulate manner with the mainstream media, but especially television interviewers, then the GOP will be wondering the desert for years to come.

Graydon Carter, the editor of Vanity Fair (a man and a magazine I can't personally stand), said it best...

"Republicans seem to pick candidates that speak English as a second language."

Perception is reality and as long as we have candidates that are perceived as unintelligent, inarticulate and incompetent, that is what our reality will be.

It’s been clear that CNN’s values system has been askew for decades.

This is one of those moments when the reality of how out of touch CNN actually is, is revealed.

Let them self destruct. They’ll try to Quayle Palin if they can. I don’t think the public will buy it. And when the public doesn’t, CNN will only have marginalized themselves in more people’s eyes.

It's becoming a defining factor anymore as a Republican.

Democrat kinda' leaves definition in limbo.

It may be too late. The average voter has been so bamboozled by the MSM that they think Palin is a liar, hypocrite, corrupt while Obama is a saint.

A large majority of voters are intellectually lazy and some are just flat-out stupid.

Of course, the Dems and the MSM consider them to be “constituents”

>"It just shows how scared they are of her.

A bunch of liberal pansies who are scared to death of a real woman.

They can’t argue with a real woman so they run around calling her names.

Who is Jane Galt?

the other seven . . . :
  • Rob Blagojevich (D-IL)-

  • John Edwards(D-NC)-

  • Kwame Kilpatrick (D-MI)-

  • Larry Langford (D-AL)-

  • Tim Mahoney (D-FL)-

  • Elliot Spitzer (D-NY)-

  • Ted Stevens (R-AK)-

How does Sarah Palin fit in with these criminals and scum?

Anyone can see that!

She's a Republican, just like Ted Stevens! </sarcasm>

And where, pray tell, is the O’s name on this list?

Those Demos are sooooooo afraid of Palin. They are starting very early to smear her, just for the run in 2012. They know they have a big job when it comes to Palin.
