Egyptians open fire on Palestinians
Google News ^ | December 28, 2008 | Press Association

Egyptian border guards have opened fire on Palestinians who breached the border to escape Israel's assault on Hamas in the Gaza Strip.

An Egyptian security official said there were at least five breaches along the nine-mile border and hundreds of Palestinian residents were pouring in.

At least 300 Egyptian border guards have been rushed to the area to reseal the border, the official added on condition on anonymity because he was not authorised to speak to the press.

A resident of the Gaza Strip side of the border, Fida Kishta, said that Egyptian border guards opened fire to drive back the Palestinians.

Name two.

Well, gee lurker...with a 20% minority that voted against Hamas...there has to be a couple of old codgers tired of all the crap.

Nope. These dirtballs sowed the wind and now they're reaping the whirlwind.

Some many cliches....so little time.

Hanas sided with Iran, and Iran is calling for the overthrow of Mubarak of Eqypt. That is why Egypt is taking such a hard line on Gaza.

“I would trust my law enforcement people to do that. The 2nd Amendment is for self defense. Not to become vigilantes.”

Well, I guess your part of the problem then, since your not part of the solution.

Bombs away...

Could have something to do with the fact that 'pali' sympathizers murdered Anwar Sadat, too.

Can you superimpose the current borders of the Jewish state? Because I don’t think they existed in 1922. In 1922, wasn’t the entire area still controlled by the UK as “Arabia?” Part of the sun never setting on the British Empire kind of thing? My memory of the area’s history is kind of fuzzy. It’s been a long time since I taught world history or geography.

there has to be a couple of old codgers tired of all the crap.

So name two. Do a Google search for prominent Gaza residents who advocate peace with Israel and who acknowledge that Israel has a right to exist.

Get back to me when you have the names.

Some many cliches

Look in a frigging mirror.

No Arab state was ever exactly sympathetic to the Palis when it was infringing their own interests and security. The Jordanians kicked the PLO out. The Egyptians, Kuwaitis and Lebanese fought and displaced them. Only exception was maybe Saddam Hussein who hosted Pali terrorists and kept them as leashdogs against Iraqis and Kuwaitis. No surprise that most Iraqis hate Palestinians with a passion.

“When will the Palestinians finally realize that they are not going to wipe Israel off the face of the earth?”

They already know THEY can’t. But they are counting on the rest of the Arab world to do it for them. The Pali role is to play the victim to stir enough international hatred to make it happen.

Several pro-Israeli or anti-Hamas Gazans to be found in this article by Daniel Pipes:

http://www.danielpipes.org/article/2600

That being said 80% election result for Hamas shows that though there certainly are some Palestinians opposed to them (though they also include Fatah thugs who are little better) the support for Hamas is very very widespread and certainly majority opinion in Gaza.

So much for their concern for the “plight” of the Palestinians. The dirty little secret the either doesn’t know or doesn’t want to admit is that the Arab world has little use for the Palestinians too.

Does not the Arab world basically make sure the Palestinians stay where they are so they can blame Israel?

Be careful about “dehumanizing” the Palestinian refugees.

You're kidding right?

These "refugees," as you call them, are vermin. My father was a refugee. The history of the world is the history of refugees, people who left the place of their birth to begin a new life. Who are the other "refugees" you know who lob missiles on a daily basis into a land they have never lived in as if they were part of an army unwilling to surrender? Or even into a land they did live in? "Refugee" is such a nice word, for a sympathizer.

Be careful about “dehumanizing” the Palestinian refugees. I am no supporter of the enemies of Israel, but we do live in a world where transgressions such as the above post will be used in the Propaganda Wars.

Of course it's wrong to make "dehumanizing" remarks about refugees. Some of them are little children and woman who have done no wrong.

But if you had to pick one group of refugees to make broad brush dehumanizing remarks about...the Hamas loving Palis from Gaza are it.
