(IsraelNN.com) IDF planes struck Gaza targets again Saturday night, with officials saying they had bombed several targets where terrorists were preparing to launch rockets against Israel. According to Hamas sources, an additional 20 terrorists were killed in attacks Saturday night, bring the total number of dead in Gaza to 225.
In all, the IDF has attacked over 170 targets. Targets included warehouses and training camps, as well as a number of underground rocket launching areas.

I quit worrying about the tin foil a while ago! LOL Currently, I’m trying to guess which side Russia would be on if India and Pakistan got real serious. Pakistan strikes me as a rebellious teenager, really... I don’t think Russia wants to take on that region and would probably be OK with India striking Pakistan, although it would complicate things for US (which might be beneficial to Russia in the long run).

In an address Saturday night, Israel’s prime minister, flanked by Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni and Defense Minister Ehud Barak, asked the Israeli public to unite around the Israel Defense Forces operation that began in Gaza earlier in the day.
“The lives of our citizens are not forfeit,” Olmert said. “In recent days, it became clear that Hamas is bent on conflict. Whoever heard Hamas’ statements understood that they decided to increase attacks on the residents of Israel by firing rockets and mortars indiscriminately. In such a situation we had no alternative but to respond. We do not rejoice in battle but neither will we be deterred from it.”
Olmert warned the public that the number of missiles may increase in the near future and could reach to more distant communities than ever before.”

Warden Message – U.S. Government Employee Travel Restrictions Due to IDF Military Operations in Gaza
December 27, 2008
This Warden Message alerts U.S. citizens of IDF military operations in the Gaza Strip. Due to IDF military operations in the Gaza Strip and reported fatalities, U.S. Government employees are restricted from traveling within a 30 km radius of the Gaza Strip and asked to exercise caution and avoid crowds in Jerusalem, although our primary concern is the possibility of spontaneous demonstrations.
American citizens should exercise caution, stay current with media coverage of local events and be aware of their surroundings at all times.
In addition, the Department of State urges U.S. citizens to avoid all travel to the Gaza Strip. Conflict and violence can occur and spread rapidly and unpredictably in the Gaza Strip. The State Department strongly recommends that American citizens refrain from all travel to the Gaza strip and that those already in Gaza depart immediately. This recommendation has been in effect since the deadly roadside bombing of a U.S. Embassy convoy in Gaza in October 2003. It applies to all Americans, including journalists and aid workers. No U.S. government official travel is permitted inside the Gaza Strip at this time.
Americans traveling in this district should regularly monitor the U.S. Consulate General’s website (http://jerusalem.usconsulate.gov) and the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Consular Affairs’ website www.travel.state.gov, where the current Worldwide Caution, Travel Warnings, including the Travel Warning for Israel, West Bank and Gaza, Travel Alerts, and Country Specific Information can be found.
