They tell us that they did not vote for Obama BUT:
1. They want him to succeed.
2. He seems to be a Centrist.
3. We should not treat him like the Left has treated President Bush
Do we want him to succeed in implementing a socialist agenda and wealth redistribution? NO
Do we want him to succeed in giving the abortionists more power than they ever had? NO
Do we want him to succeed in implementing an appeasement and surrender foreign policy? NO
Do we want him to succeed in appointing the most left wing Supreme Court and federal judges? NO
Is he a Centrist? Only fools believe so. The man is the most left wing person to be elected President. His left wing principles are so deeply rooted in his character that it is an impossibility he is going to change. All his life from childhood till this very moment he has been exposed and has only believed and practiced left wing ideology. Only a fool believes that a 47 years old man who has lived all his life as a left wing liberal is going to suddenly change and becomes a Centrist. Only a fool will fall for some of Obama cabinet picks who do not appear to be left wing lunatics and conclude that Obama is a centrist because of that. Only a fool believes that the left wing socialist limousine liberals who put Obama in power are going to tolerate centrism in the government. They do not have to worry about this issue because Obama will never disappoint them.
We are not going to treat Obama the way the left wing liberals have treated President Bush. We are not going to hate him as a person and we are not going to wish him any personal ill as liberals have done to President Bush since 2000 and will continue to do so even after President Bush has left office. However we are going to work very hard to defeat Obama socialist domestic agenda and his defeatist foreign policy.
Therefore and based on the above, we should start the fight against Obama agenda right here on Free Republic and purge the carefully disguised Obama’s trolls. We already have a 24/7 utterly disgusting Obama propaganda by the liberal media and we do not need more of it on Free Republic. We are a conservative forum and for now at least we still have the freedom to ban people who want to spread Obama propaganda. This will be best and it will help us focus more on our message. I hope that the owner of Free Republic and the admin moderators agree and help us achieve this mission.
Nothing to do so I will dream up a new conspiracy..

What cracks me up are the "Pray for President-elect Obama - Day (Whatever)" threads. Whenever I see one I post that I pray Obama falls flat on his face or goes to jail or something to that effect. Astoundingly, the person who posts these provocatively-titled threads then gets upset when people post their disgust. "These are supposed to be strictly religious threads", he/she whines, as if that atheist, America-hating rat deserves any prayers whatsoever.
And I hope I will regrow a whole new set of teeth, find a gold mine on my property, and instantly lose 40 pounds overnight and gain muscle, without doing any effort.
Our hopes have an equal chance of coming true. Actually mine are more realistic.

WIshing Obama success means wishing this country to go to hell.
Unfortunately, arasina, you probably know the answer to that, and it isn't pleasant. People often have to be pushed pretty far to care enough to get involved. If our country is pushed that far, it won't be pretty, and it won't be fun.

Speak for yourself hombre. I wish him the same fate as I would wish any other power-hungry Marxist POS who would rob me of my birthright of freedom. May his fellow travelers turn on him, as often happens in those circles.
What do you suggest for now? We can't kill all of the Democrats and take over and we haven't a vote for two years. Since nothing has happened yet we can hope. I don't hold up much promise but will fight and bitch as much as I can.
I pray that Obama is just successful enough at implementing his agenda to assure a GOP majority in Congress in 2010.

I don't want Obama's policies to succeed. But I respect the Presidency and for the most part, FReepers do want this nation to remain united and won't stoop down to the Left. That is why there's a Pray for President Obama thread.
