How does one post pictures, or add them to a post? I know it's probably pretty simple, but any help is appreciated
thanks

If you're on a MacBook, I assume you're using Safari as your browser (as I am -- on my MacBook Pro).
- PLACE your cursor over the (online) image.
- PRESS the "control" key.
- PRESS and HOLD the trackpad button down.
- From the popup menu that appears, SELECT "Copy image address" (near the bottom).
- Use the following code and...
- <img src="PASTE (command-V) the image address (URL) here.">

In the interest of the thread, I went a bit beyond answering your specific request -- hope you don't mind...
BTW, that menu that pops up when you CTRL-CLICK&HOLD on an online image gives you lots of other useful options -- check it out...
For example, you can select "COPY image", and then open "Preview" and, from the FILE menu select "New From Clipboard" -- and, Voila! you have the image -- ready to edit...
Merry Christmas!

Upload a picture to Photobucket.
Paste the code here as below. I have removed the < > from the codes so they will print. In the Freeper window type img src="" with the < > front and back.
Go back to Photobucket and click on the photo you uploaded, Copy the IMG CODE.
Paste the code as below. I have removed the < > from the codes so they will print.
img src""
Remove the from the code.
It should look like this.
img src="http://i203.photobucket.com/albums/aa235/1stendic/ArnoldSw1966.jpg"
With the < > installed you will get a picture.
Before you hit "POST", hit "Preview" to see if the photo pops up. That way you won't have a post of a box with a red x in it.

When I use TinyPic, I have to click on HTML for Websites to post a pic.

Re your tagline (Can't we all just get along? At least until I'm finished reloading?) and my first ever picture post on FR:
Yes, I do keep all of them loaded. Even the pink .22 Remington that my eight year old daughter got for Christmas.
BTW she'll be a Black Belt in Tae Kwan Do by this time next year. (busting buttons off my shirt!)

WOW!
Some fancy looking firearms there in that photo!
I’d have to ask hubby to tell me which was which!
I’m good at the shootin’ part...not so good at the identification part!
Good job posting a pic!
That wasn’t so hard now, was it?

From top to bottom:
Remington Model 597 .22 LR in pink mossy oak cammo
Remington 870 Express 12 gauge Supermag pump
SKS, I bought 2 to beat the ban for three total.
Doublestar DSC STAR-15 Rifle in 5.56 MM
All of them are brand new and only the SKS has had a round through it by me.
I just bought two gun safes and will take a picture of the whole stash when I transfer them.
I’m also looking for a nice M1911A1 for my collection. Would your husband know one to recommend?
Hope you all had a nice Christmas.
Rick
