Well, I was in Vietnam when Jane Fonda did the same thing.

That we have an ambassador in Syria stinks to high heaven.

They’ll probably drive their pink Volvos.

Is it just me, or is the Suburu mini-wagon the predominant vehicle of choice among those with SSAD? Seems like 5 out of 10 times I see one on the road it has some type of "I'm Gay" advertisement (Rainbow, "mean people suck") sticker.

Do any other freeper's attend Saddleback? My wife and I go to the 6:30 service on Subday.

I hope that Rick Warren gives a Fire and Brimstone sermone directed right at Hussein.

I grew up as a pastor's daughter in a very conservative church denomination. It never failed to amaze me the attitude of the “Christians” in the church.

Jesus himself was criticized for associating with sinners, to which he replied that he came not to call the righteous, but sinners.

While I despise most of the things that Obama stands for, this is a wonderful opportunity for an evangelical Christian to share his faith. As Jesus also said, You are the light of the world and to let your light shine before men.

So, do you think Warren will get up there and "let his light shine" with the Truth of the Word,

or will it be a PC de facto blessing of the incoming administration?

If it's the former, you have a point - he should do it.
If it's the latter, it "constitutes material cooperation with intrinsic evil".

"I hope that Rick Warren gives a Fire and Brimstone sermon..."

If Warren says, something like, "can't we all get along, kumbayah..." I'll puke.

The Useful Idiots are learning how the left treats useful IDIOTS after the left takes power. (emphasis on the word TAKES)

the creepy looking at them looking at him....

why did the homosexuals expect?

only now it is dawning on them that democrats have always thought of them as disposable.

For conservatives this issue is a good thing. It shows obama is acknowledging this is still a right leaning nation.

That’s very rude of you.
I am not ‘hijacking’ anything!
I’m just trying to get the word out to people during the last stage of the Bush administration to help our Texas border guards!
They put their lives on the line to protect the U.S and were imprisoned for it.

No it wasn't.
I am not ‘hijacking’ anything!
Yes you were. Though you still don't apparently realize it.
I’m just trying to get the word out to people during the last stage of the Bush administration to help our Texas border guards!
That's all well and good BUT it didn't belong on that thread.
They put their lives on the line to protect the U.S and were imprisoned for it.
Yes they did and there's been a gazillion Threads on FR about them, the unfair prosecution and Bush leaving them in prison to rot and get beat up by illegals.

What you should have done is start your own new thread with what you posted. I realize you're new to FR and there's posting do's and dont's -- you did a don't. Really, I'm not playing posting police but someone not as nice could have hit the abuse button on you.

So 'series', next time just start a new thread, it's easy.
Have a nice day :-)

Well, I was in Vietnam when Jane Fonda did the same thing.

We did not have an ambassador in North Vietnam when Jane Fonda went visiting. She should be in jail.

That we have an ambassador in Syria stinks to high heaven.

Embassies are essential tools of the CIA. No Embassy, no diplomatic pouches.

And we should have taken wahabbist saudi arabia first in the WOT.

“Diplomatic pouch.” What nonsense.

Oh, I know; I was being random... I hope for their release, and ideally a pardon from Bush. But I don't see that as likely. Bush has allowed them to be hung out to dry, which I think is a travesty, given what I know of the case.

My comment had more to do with the fact that patriot08's comment was a clear attempt to hijack the thread.

Considering that it is Friday, I think it may be time for a ....

Neener Thread Hijacking

An elderly woman walked into the local country church. The friendly usher greeted her at the door and helped her up the flight of steps. "Where would you like to sit?" he asked politely.

"The front row please." she answered.

"You really don't want to do that", the usher said. "The pastor is really boring."

"Do you happen to know who I am?" the woman inquired.

      "No." he said.

"I'm the pastor's mother," she replied indignantly.

"Do you know who I am?" he asked.

      "No." she said.

      "Good", he answered.
