Federal Sources: Fitzgerald Held Off Blagojevich Bust to Protect Obama Election Chances; Did Obama Fail Ethics Requirements of Illinois Bar?
A federal source of mine with ties to Chicago says that FBI agents had enough to prosecute corrupt, helmet-haired Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich back in June, when he was already engaged in some of the blackmail and extortion alleged by the FBI affidavit and other documents associated with his arrest and prosecution.
The source says that the FBI was suddenly ordered by the U.S. Attorney's Office--and I believe that order came from the top, ie., U.S. Attorney Patrick Fitzgerald and Justice Department officials in Washington--to hold off on doing anything until after the election, so as not to hurt Obama's White House bid. Here's what my inside source says.
I know for a fact FBI Chicago had enough to indict Blagojevich in June. They were 2 weeks from indictment in June based on cooperation and testimony at the Stu Levine trial. Levine was Tony Rezko's bud, fund raiser for Blago, and our President-Elect...http://www.debbieschlussel.com/

We are truly getting to the point that “We The People” need to retake our GOD GIVEN RIGHTS based on the CONSTITUTION of OUR Republic.
These crooks across party lines are ruining and selling out OUR country. With this latest event with Blago one has to ask themselves: What is their price?, what are they willing to sell-off to the highest bidder? The mob, China, Russia.........are Freedom?!
Of course he is. It sounds like is participating in some coverup and should be fired.
No, I agree that Fitzgerald probably is a partisan Dem. But it is obvious that Bush in particular and the GOP in general felt it would violate their “gentleman’s agreement” if they revealed anything about Obambi - such as his corruption, his associates, doubts about his citizenship, and even his middle name - and they conducted a campaign that shied away from all the unsavory things about the annointed Great Leader.
The details in this case must have been known earlier, but I would suspect that Fitzgerald - who is partisan but also wants to get his man - was told to wait until “the people had decided.” And now it’s almost too late.
I still defend him on some things. But I think his cringing, whipped dog stance for the last couple of years had been a disaster and done a great disservice to us all. Maybe he had a breakdown. I really don’t know.
Even if Fitz fired off the indictment early, the MSM would not have covered it. Furthermore, they would have said the whole thing was a smear on Obama, most likely tainting the entire investigation.
I DO NOT like Fitz, but he really didn’t have any other option here. Sucks, but there it is.
This has always been the duty of a Christian leader. One of the problems is that Christianity got transformed into mush, where the main duty of a Christian leader was to be the first out the gate with an apology to the oppressor. Bush comes from that stream of Christianity, which unfortunately is the dominant one nowadays.
bttt
It’s become very obvious that a number of the MSM TV news types, as well as the money hungry crowd at the NYT an the Tribune group, were involved in the graft and corruption side of Obama’s election.
Majority of people here are dependants of the few tax (to death) payers left. No incentive to change out of their housecoat and sweat pants.
Richard Armitage...again?
Armitage must have photos of Fitz with a goat.
I just can not understand why Pres. Bush will not just support our conservative policy? He is going to get skewered no mater what he does from the left and at the same time piss off the conservatives and republicans once again for taking the liberal view.
At lease if he stood up for us, the right, 50 percent of the nation would be satisfied in stead of 100 percent being angry.
I agree. If he had just stood up and fought back, people would have come out to support him. But it’s very hard to support someone who’s not fighting back in the first place. Very sad, and I pray for him too.
Plame was NOT a bona fide undercover agent
Rove and Libby did NOT leak anything
Armatage was the LEAKER, with Novak somehow involved.
Yet Fitzgerald let the so called "investigation" go on and on. And who benefited from all this, Why the DemoncRATS, that's who!
How does one get to remain in his position? He gets (re) nominated. His next bss will be Obama?
“Yes we all know that so much more is going on here, and for sure Fitzgerald is protecting somebody.”
He is protecting his job, The O can’t fire him now without it lt looking political. His only client is Fitzgerald. His is the embodiment of most lawyers I know.
They?
They who?
MCCAIN shied away from it. MCCAIN chose to campaign on his terms. MCCAIN made that choice for HIS campaign.
Bush didn't have anything to do with it, and nor would it have done McCain any good if he had. Hello? Was Bush supposed to hold press conferences saying Obama is a bad man? Are you loony? Some of the lowest popularity ratings ever for a POTUS...oh yeah.....throw Obama into THAT briar patch!!!! LOL.
Yes it is too late. Yes the Obamamaniacs would've been even more endeared with him had they known this.
Lord, this election was not a fluke. We've been turning out socialist idiots from high school for the past 40 years....this is the product.
This country has had terminal cancer for longer than we can admit. We're in shock and disbelief.
How about pictures of Richard with Patrick pretending to be a goat.
Reminds me of Winston’s job in “1984” — rewriting the old “news” stories to fit the new “facts”.
