Authorities say they are seeking a search warrant for the Orlando home of a missing 3-year-old girl after a small child's remains were found nearby.
Orange County sheriff's spokesman Carlos Padilla said Thursday that investigators cordoned off the home belonging to the grandparents of Caylee Anthony, who often stayed at the home with her mother.

They have searched it MANY TIMES already. They probably have more evidence after finding the body like duct tape, plastic bags, etc. they are trying to match among other things.

It has been done before. My guess is now they are looking for a picture of Caylee with a particular set of clothes on. Or a specific type or brand of duct tape or garbage bag...............

The grandparents were on Larry King show just last night claiming the grandaughter was still alive. Guess this puts that theory to rest. Hopefully there is enough forensic evidence to convict whomever is responsible for this poor child's death.
I am one who favors death penalty. But with her age. Life in prison with no possibility of parole would work for me for the next 60 years of her life since partying seemed to be what she preferred to the responsibility of parenting.

I favor the death penalty too, but since that’s not going to happen....I want her put away for live AFTER she is sterilized.

I could be wrong, but I think the brother lives with the grandparents, too. But I’m not 100% certain.

That’s what I was wondering. What the heck has taken so long.

I’m wondering why the woods, which are SO CLOSE to their house, was not searched earlier.

Caylee’s Mom clearly suffers from a mental disorder. Based on news conferences given by the grandmother, I think the mental disorder is genetic.

Supposedly, that area was underwater then.

Im wondering why the woods, which are SO CLOSE to their house, was not searched earlier.I'll bet they were. However, if dogs were not used, it's possible she may have been missed. I'm not certain about the flora in Florida, but it's possible, due to changing seasons, that some vegetation has died off or dropped leaves, thus she was able to be seen.

Supposedly, that area was underwater then. Thanks. That would certainly explain it.

It was standing water when they were doing the searching. I am not a doctor, but I have doctored a lot of animals, I think I could neuter Casey too if one a ya wanted to hold her down. Her babbling wouldnt bother me. Shouldnt be any different than spayin a dog.

I think Lee lives nearby. If Casey DID have an accomplice, he is my #1 suspect.

Susan Smith is in prison for putting her beautiful little boys into their car seats and pushing her car into a lake.
Doubtful this monster will get the death penalty.
