Joe Wurzelbacher lashed out at former GOP presidential nominee John McCain Tuesday, the man who made Wurzelbacher famous as “Joe the Plumber.”

Wurzelbacher told conservative radio host Glenn Beck that he felt “dirty” after “being on the campaign trail and seeing some of the things that take place.”

You’re so right about that open primaries garbage.

The volume needs to be turned up about that subject.

I’ve heard that Gov. Palin pleaded with McCain not to support the bailout, but I haven’t seen anything in writing about that. She has far better political instincts than McCain has exhibited, so it wouldn’t surprise me. Sarah Palin is the real deal, and that is why the MSM, and the GOP “leadership” is out to get her.

Once again (no need for snark!), he doesn’t reveal anything with that. I READ the article, he says “I asked some direct questions about the bailout “ asked him some pretty direct questions,” he continued. “Some of the answers you guys are gonna receive — they appalled me, absolutely. I was angry. In fact I wanted to get off the bus after I talked to him.”

Now please tell me what the ANSWERS were. Mr. Know it all.

The quote you mention doesn’t answer the question. “some of the answers you guys [what guys???] are gonna receive....” What am I missing?

It was heartbreaking to vote for McCain after working for Tom Tancredo and Fred Thompson.

You probably worked harder for Fred than Fred worked for himself.

And I was a Fredhead long before Fred tepidly jumped in.

The night that MCCain lost the election -he looked relieved. The next day he looked happy.

Yeah. And I question the timing of Joe’s sudden epiphany now that he’s got a book to promote.

Yep, for me it was more about Sarah than McCain.

My tagline says all that needs to be said.

McCain got to be the nominee because of OPEN PRIMARIES where DEMOCRATS can PICK OUR NOMINEE

Independents and cross-overs were only half the story.

The other half was too many 'conservative' candidates, causing the votes to be splintered. Then, Romney and Huckabee hanging on long enough to cause the other 'conservatives' to drop out.

In 2012, the 'conservatives' need to select one solid representative candidate (as early as 2010) and groom that person. Otherwise, the 'conservatives' will continue to be spintered, and that will hand the nomination to the RNC's middle-road, big business, business-as-usual candidate.

I agree with you.

He wasn’t up to the job.

He just didn’t get it. He’s totally out of touch.
He couldn’t sell ice to a dying man in the desert.
I think he really believed that his service in VN entitled him to be President.

McCain had nothing to lose by opposing the bail-out. He stopped his campaign to rush to DC to spend unprinted other -peoples-money. Old habits die hard.

Huckabee is the reason we lost the election. He ruined Romney. Romney was beating McCain. Huckabee is too extreme in his religious views to be any more than the gov of arkansas.

The anti-mormon evangelicals are part of the cause of the problem. No one calls them out on this either.

We worked to elect SARAH, and without her on the ticket Obama WOULD have had a landslide.

O still got more than 2-to-1 in the Electoral count. That is pretty much a landslide.

"Senator McCain is an honorable man, he has served this country well in the Vietnam War and suffered greatly for it."

Bravo Sierra. McCain's service was honorable, but that does not by itself make him honorable. I served with a number of scoundrels in Vietnam who were pretty damned good soldiers.

The headline is a bit misleading. What seemed to appall Joe was the federal bailout and McCain’s inability to explain it to him. In this, Joe wasn’t alone. To put it mildly.
