I really wish Drudge would read entire news stories before getting hysterical with a big red headline. The subpoenas are issued on the mutual bank/rezko wife deal, not the obama/rezko deal.
The crimes occurred during the transaction between Mutual Bank and the purchase of the property by Rezko’s wife. The sale to Obama was after the fact and therefor a non-story.
Bush will probably pardon him while he forgets about the border agents and Scooter.

Obama probably figured he could do like Clinton, fire ALL the federal prosecutors, and replace them all with "reliable" people. If Fitz comes out with a series of indictments on all of Obama's network of friends (possibly including Obama himself), the Obama firing Fitz would be hard to spin, even for the partisan press.

The Fitz had his eyes set on the Attorney General's Office. The odds of that happening if he had started passing subpoenas around before the election were obviously ZERO. Now that it turns out that those odds are ZERO anyway then why not go ahead and get on with working on the main goal that Fitz has set for himself: Getting in the papers and on TeeVee. The law and Fitz have never met. He is simply a politician through and through. He proved that with his totally unwarranted attack on the Bush Administration.
Nah, they're DemocRats, silly. This will be viewed as a resume enhancer.....
