Please read the 2nd paragraph and note Obama’s father was not a US Citizen.
If Obama was not born in Hawaii or the US (and he has yet to show legitimate proof he was), he is NOT a Natural Born Citizen.

If, at the time of your birth, both your parents were U.S. citizens and at least one had a prior residence in the United States, you automatically acquired U.S. citizenship with no conditions for retaining it.
If only one parent was a U.S. citizen at the time of your birth, that parent must have resided in the United States for at least ten years, at least five of which had to be after the age of 16. There are no conditions placed on retaining this type of citizenship. If your one U.S. citizen parent is your father and you were born outside of marriage, the same rules apply if your father legally legitimated you before your 21st birthday and you were unmarried at the time. If legitimation occurred after November 14, 1986, your father must have established paternity prior to your 18th birthday, either by acknowledgment or by court order, and must have stated in writing that he would support you financially until your 18th birthday.
Oh yeah, and Obama’s mother was only 18 at his birth. Therefore not old enough to transfer citizenship unless born here.

I don’t have an original copy of my birth certificate. It was lost many years ago. However, I can get a copy-certified copy anytime I want. It is just as good as the original. This is total nonsense. You don’t want Obama to be President (who does) and you are essentially refusing to face reality.

Writ of mandamus denied because the plaintiff failed to demonstrate standing, that irreparable harm would be done without relief, and that the public interest overwhelmed the right to privacy. In addition, the state Health Department director testified that she had examined the original document and found it legitimate.
So, to make my point again, the court did not find that the document was legitimate, but only that it was entitled to that presumption.
There is one thing that is certain: the American voters will not be told they are stupid. I don't care what evidence you have, I don't care what the constitution says, the voters will work the system so that their will is followed. There is no circumstance under the sun in which ANY of this will result in Obama being prevented from taking office.

Canedawg brought a similar point as you regarding the degree of proof in a civil suit such as Obama birth certificate. From legal point of view you are both right. However at the same time Obama is not required or forced by any law to produce his original birth certificate and there is no political pressure on him to do so. The majority of people are not buying this birth certificate issue and this ends it from political point of view. Now that the supreme court has spoken this issue is over.
