Supreme Court to Uphold or Ignore the Constitution?

As of this writing, December 6th, the Supreme Court has not yet announced whether or not it will take up the Donofrio case, or any other case concerning Obama’s constitutional eligibility for the office of President.

Yet there is no more important issue before the court today and the clock is ticking.

Who cares about mccain? He lost. This isn’t about mccain.

Actually, according to Donofrio v. Wells, it is in some respects about McCain, who is alleged to be ineligible as well. Should this suit be successful, there will be an impact upon the options available to the Electoral College, above and beyond Obama being ruled ineligible.

my answer is NOTHING..The economy of the world was humming along..then panic was spread by Paulson and congress and
the President with Bernake as cheer leader..right before our national elections..I do not believe in coincidence when it comes to Trillions of dollars and a nations leadership..this smells to high heaven.

In the case of a President-designate who apparently has held Indonesian citizenship at some point during his life, it most certainly is relevant.

It is a travesty that the Berg case was disregarded for lack of merit. We are a government of the people. A citizen should have the standing to make sure a person seeking the Presidency is eligible.

I’m tired of being ignored and stolen from too. The only time I hear from them is when they flood my phone and mail box during voting seasons.

I live in a small town of 6,000 so the riots won’t affect me either.

My point was that if SCOTUS drags this BC suit out, it could be, to put our National Guard in place before they announce it.

If the SCOTUS decides not to pursue this I will never have any confidence in them again. Not that I much confidence in them now btw.

Well, it boils down to a simple exercise in logic, Donofrio's argument does. If Barack Obama were born a subject of Great Britain, and by his own admission he was, how can he possibly be naturally born a citizen of the United States? Competing claims mean that the status is at question. Competing loyalties go against the clear intent of the framers, in raising the bar for just that one elective office, the office of President.
