The polls close in ten minutes. Hopefully Georgia has held the line today. Poll traffic was reported as steady here Northeast Atlanta today...
wait ‘til fulton comes in.
i’m tellin y’all we need every bit of this lead.
DeKalb trickling in now...closing the gap too, around 60-40% now...35,ooo votes just like that!
HOLD ON SAXBY!
Well the difference in Fulton and Cobb on Nov was a total gain of 170,000 votes for Martin, so far CNN has Chambliss 176,000 ahead without these 2 reporting, now looking at Chambliss gaining in areas better than he did on Nov 4th, this makes it very hard for him to lose now, in my opinion.
When I was house hunting my first rule was nothing in DeKalb County.
Even Orrin Hatch, with his NRA A+ rating, authored the Juvenile Crime bill which outlawed import of magazines. Duh. They're all bonkers, with one finger to the wind, and the other ... nevermind.
Chambliss (R) - 62.2% (408,949)
Martin (D) - 37.8% (248,262)
BTW, I don’t have a sister. How bout my labrador?
COLQUITT hasn’t repoted, My old home and Saxby’s home HOR district.
Doh! You’re right. Basic radio 101. I’m getting adle-brained in my old age...
Shouldn’t we really be giving all the credit to John McCain who also campaigned for Saxby.
I know Sarah is the new face of American Conservatism, but don’t we as republicans turn away from the right wing extremism of conservatism, in favor of a more subdued, moderate, thoughtful, compromising, fighting with both hands and a leg tied behind our backs approach to winning elections? Isn’t that what 2008 has taught us? Isn’t milquetoastianism is the way ahead for republicans? Isn’t Christie Todd Whitman the real face of the Republican Party? Or how about Colin Powell? Richard Armitage? Brent Scowcroft? William Weld? Jim Jeffords? Olympia Snowe?
Hasn’t 2008 shown us that these are the folks who will lead us back? /sarc

Turnout is down a lot even in areas Saxby ran strong in, Fulton is holding their vote. Saxby needs to have a big lead because Martin won Fulton and Dekalb by about 300,000 votes in Nov
Amen to that - and watch out for Clayton County too. It’s not as big as Fulton or DeKalb, but it’s just as bad there. Close-in parts of Cobb & Gwinnett (yet to report, probably) are no better.
This isn’t going to be a 65-35 result in the end, but hopefully will be well outside the range of Franken-esque fraud and other ‘Rat tricks.

the gang of 14 for energy, and giving hank paulson $850 billion to bailout the banks.
I wish Muskogee (Columbus) would start coming in. That will break for Martin pretty hard I bet.
I’m sure that this picture didn’t help Martin very much:
