Al Franken is claiming he has 200,000 write in votes in Georgia and wants them to count in Minnesota. :)

Some AM radio stations are required by the FCC to lower their transmitter’s power at local sundown to protect the signals of other stations which operate on the same frequencies in other parts of the country.

This is due to the “skip effect” of AM signals, which can travel long distances by bouncing off of the ground. This is why you can receive the signals of some high-power stations clear across the country from where their transmitters are located.

This is the first election of the 2010 cycle, and its turning out to be a repudiation of Obama.

Excellent, if cynical, point and it should be pounded out there as often as possible.

You are absolutely racist. To imply that 99% of one ethnic group would turn out to vote, and that 99% of the 99% would vote for one candidate of the same ethnicity is one thing. But then to say that half of the 99% don’t bother showing up to vote for the white guy with the same ideology, and who is an acquaintance of Ludacris and TI, shows that the original vote was largely or exclusively motivated by race, that is pure hateful racism. /sarc

Depends. From St. Marys/Kings Bay north, it leans hard to the conservative side. Farther north, past Brunswick it leans more to the left, though the military bases balance that area out a bit.

Candler County: 3 out of 4 precincts in, 56% for Chambliss in the first round, 65% for Chambliss now.

Baldwin County: Chambliss lost this the first time with 44%, but he’s at 47% now with 10 out of 16 precincts in.

The trend is our friend.

I hope they did an exit poll and lets see how big a drop the AA vote is in Georgia today.

"Al Franken is claiming he has 200,000 write in votes in Georgia and wants them to count in Minnesota."

Franken will probably find some liberal court that will make it happen! lol The 9th Circus, the NJ Supreme Court, or the FL Supreme could could make it happen.... though the FL and NJ courts lack the jurisdiction, it doesn't matter. The 9th Circus will award them jurisdiction retroactive to 11.4.

Several counties haven’t even had a single precinct report yet. Populated ones too.

But this is a very nice trend so far.

A Chambliss landslide will be very very good for our gal Sarah. A good starting off point

I said that Palin was worth 10%. Without her Chambliss wins 53%-47%, with her, I am betting 63%-37%. They will spin it six ways from Sunday but she is DEFINATELY worth +10% in Georgia...

I voted this morning in downtown Atlanta. There were only 2 cars in the parking lot and maybe 3 or 4 voters in the polling place. I thought I was in the wrong place. A low turnout in Fulton is very good news for Saxby.

Pike County has all precincts in: Chambliss got 72% in the first round, now he’s got 80%.

The trend is unmistakable, Saxby’s running ahead of his November totals. If that holds up, we can call this for Saxby in short order.
