There were a couple of good threads here regarding this sort of question - but for me, I carry a .32 Beretta Tomcat with Glaser Safeties and Hydra-shocks (alternating) ... someone here said good handguns were Tarus and Glock in either 9mm or .40cal .... if you live in an apartment my gun instructor said that 12ga pump with #6 is a good stopper and won’t penetrate apartment walls ....

Hope this helped.

My mom has the tomcat and my wife has the bobcat. The only thing I’d suggest is that you have the trigger pull weight adjusted to be comfortable when you shoot, or your shots will be all over. Fine hand guns for their designed purpose and definitely suitable for a ladies smaller hand size.

Wow, I have a Tomcat also and use exactly the same ammo load sequence. Great minds surely do think alike.

I just replaced the Tomcat with a KelTec P32. Weighs about half what the Beretta does, only 3/4" wide. Perfect for my bike gun. Don't even need a holster anymore, just cut a slit in the watch pocket of my jeans... perfect!

Just wished they would pass an open carry so I could get the .45 out of the bike bag and strap it on.
