We will see with these law suits whether or not we are a nation ruled by law or by women like Ginsburg that they might fuflill their Marxist goals.

Incorrect. The Framers were vert concnered about this. Two British “agents” could have come to America, had a child and this agent for the UK could have become POTUS. They were very paranoid about this or any dual loyalties.

This is a third one (Cort). There is a fourth one from NY as well. I heard the CA one (Keyes) has gotten through CA courts and is heading for SCOTUS. I have not verfified that yet. I have heard more are coming.

No. He was born in a civilian hospital in Colón PANAMA, not on the base, nor in the Canal Zone.

At least that’s what his BC says.

If Keyes case gets bounced by Sup Ct of CA - I bet it does - it will go to SCOTUS immediately.

There are at least 5:
1. Berg - at SCOTUS
2. Leo Donofrio - at SCOTUS
3. Cort - at Scotus
4. NY case - I forget the guy’s name. - I Think at SCOTUS
5. Keyes - CA case which is at CA Supreme Ct.-At SCOTUS next week of denied in CA? We will see.

More supposedly in the wings. One I think may be bogged down in GA courts.

Thank you for pointing that out. I was beginning to feel a little lonely, lol.

If Obama was born on US soil, he is a natural born citizen thru jus solis. It wouldn't matter who his parents were except if they were diplomats accredited to the US.

That is not what the Senate determined in its Resolution 511. According to it, the natural born status of John McCain addressed in the Resolution rested also upon his birth from American citizens -- that's a plural not a singular.

Even this Senate Resolution backs up Leo Donofrio's case.

14th Amnedment writer said natural born required two American citizen parents.

United States v. Wong Kim Ark, 169 U.S. 649 (1898)

Wong was found to be a citizen because he was born in the United States, even though both his parents were Chinese citizens.

The issue was the meaning of the phrase "and subject to the jurisdiction thereof". The government maintained it excluded Wong because his parents were subjects of the Chinese Emperor. But the Supreme Court decided it applied only to children of foreign diplomats or occupying armies.

If the precedent were overridden, Bobby Jindal would be a foreigner. His parents were Indian students and had arrived in to study in Louisiana when his mother was four months pregnant with him.

“Is it possible that we do find the BC a forgery and have grounds to impeach several judges here?”

Chuckles, I’m not a lawyer, but I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night ...

works for me!

kabar, there is a distinct difference bewteen a US citizen and a “Natural Born Citizen”, per the US constitution as it pertains to eligibility of POTUS. There are many links and resources here in FR that can help you with your research if you care to know.

I think Leo or somebody mentioned that! Hilarious. Leo said the Senate’s Resolution was meaningless and pretty much illegal. What is hilarious is the Senate, in passing this resolution, does not think Obama is qualified.

I heard now that Pelosi is stepping in saying Obama is elegible! This is an outrage!

We are clearly being screwed over by the Excuetive (to be) Branch being helped by the Legislative Branch (Pelosi, Senate & Secretaries of State not doing their job, and possibly Gov Linda Ligle in HI).

SCOTUS or Judicial is the third branch that is SUPPOSED to protect the Constitution and the electorate from abuse by the Legislative and Executive (to be - in McCain & Obama).
These cases are why SCOTUS is there! The Framers wanted it that way!

If Pelosi is saying anything, that is significant. Where did you hear that?

By what means can she do that? No one elected her Queen.

Last nihght on Plains Radio this was discussed by Leo. One of the writers of the 14th Amendment said both parents had to be Americans for natural born citizens. Their was also a recent cases including an opinion by John Paul Stevens that supports Leo’s case and a more rcent case. Leo is not concerned about Wong Kim Ark.

Bobby Jindal may not be eligble.
