Concerns over President-elect Barack Obama's birthplace are heating up, with a hearing scheduled in a few days before the U.S. Supreme Court on a case that alleges he wasn't born in the U.S. and isn't eligible to hold office, but the current occupant of the White House isn't concerned.

Presidential spokesman Tony Fratto responded to Les Kinsolving, WND's correspondent at the White House, during a news briefing today....

This is not a surprise to me after I read a book, Defeating The Totalitarian Lie. It's written by a German, Hilmar Von Camp, who was in the Hitler youth, reconciled his past w/those he fought against in WWII, and the facinating part- he draws parallels of what Germany was like in the 30s and thru the war with what has been, and is, going on in our country now and for the past 20-30 years. It is chilling to say the least.

I ordered some extra copies and plan to give them to relatives for Christmas. I'm going to send one w/a note to our local talk radio host to see if he'll give it some exposure. I'm still rattled somewhat by the book's conclusions, but, at the same time, not surprised. I'm also somewhat knowledgeable of Bible prophesy and the pieces all seem to fit together.

I ran across the link to the book from another topic article here a week ago or at, Something of historic proportions is happening.

This was also a good article tying in a lot of what 0bama is planning w/The Civilian National Security Force.

I'm afraid we're in for some challenging times where it's going to be tough for the good guys to win. And the closer one is to God the safer they will feel be.

“This is a constitutional issue, perhaps even a constitutional crisis;..”

It would be a crises.

The easy part is the succession.

The hard part: is what do we do with any bills signed should he be deemed not able to be president?

***I’d say they’re null and void.

Just three weeks AFTER the frickin election.

No . . . the real election is on the first Monday after the first Wednesday in December - Dec 15. On Nov 4, we voted for the members of the Electoral College. They vote on Dec 15. They may be pledged but are not bound to vote for The Bogus. Scott Norwood could be elected.

Even tho i live in Vermont i’ve been a long time listener to Baltimore’s Talk Radio WCBM 690AM.
Yesterday morning on the Tom Marr Show Mr.Marr stated to his fans that the COLB&un-bama was a non-issue with him and that “BO was born in HI with the birth certificate to prove it”. If he stated this broadcasted opinion to raise his audience’s consciousness it certainly didn’t reflect in any of the forthcoming calls. He just kept blowing peopleoff and wouldn’t give them equal time, even if some of his conservative based listening audience had incorrect facts.
So I therefore came to the conclusion that Tom Marr just can’t deal with the facts or is self-muzzling OR he just drank the post-”election”(what a farce)Kool-Aid & can’t deal with reality.
The article mentions Les’question & all the pertinent facts as WND states them but doesn’t publish Les’ answer to the turndown. Les was on last night @9pm as usual. I tuned in around 10PM ish he was taking calls from people who questions about this very same subject but when one caller (in particular)didn’t have his facts straight Les did not correct him. What’s up with this?

I feel like I am screaming in the wind. You know? My mind can comprehend a stupid Senator getting the whisperings in his ear to become President, his ego getting carried away with the idea and when it became clear he could actually win, the stupid handlers saying “Don’t worry, we’ll fix it. No one will even question where you were born...” or something to that affect.

What I can’t comprehend is that either I am a wackadoo paranoid schizophrenic who thinks “Why not just show your damn birth certificate already?!” or that the fix is in and everyone in the media from the left to the right even are in on it and I’m out in the dark. And on the last part, WHY?

Why do you bother logging into a constitutionalist website and ridicule the adherents? That is pretty much the DEFINITION of a troll.

I am not a troll; you, on the other hand, are a rude, self-centered fool who insulted me because I dared comment on a news article in a way you didn't like.

You don't own the thread. I read the piece, and gave my opinion. You told me to shut up and offered no argument, no discussion, just a childish "Shut up, troll!" schoolgirl response.

If you don't like free speech, you really don't belong here. If someone posts a comment that DARES to differ from yours, either engage the meat of the comment, or say nothing. When you post "Shut up, troll!" you come off as a very scared, very weak person. When you shoot from the dark corner of the Internet, in a way you'd never say to my face, you get what you get. Don't like it? Tough.

So--either have the intelligence and maturity to understand that all of us have the right to comment on the article and the attention this subject gets, and that YOU don't get to decide what's the "PC" attitude to take around here...or simply scroll past. There are plenty of folks here who will parrot back your point of view, since that's the thing that helps your insecurity.

The problem is, even though this may have merit, I can see no scenario in which the SCOTUS stops Obama from taking the oath and becoming president. If there was even a distant chance of that, we'd know by now. But for the sake of argument, let's say Obama wasn't born here. The SCOTUS will say that to benefit the country, to prevent a civil war, to prevent the SCOTUS from taking another hit as being "political" as they did during the 2001 election recount, and for the "greater good" or somesuch hogwash, the Governor of Hawaii had every right to seal the document, and since the affirmation of whether or not one is a citizen takes place on the state level, he was within his rights to do so.

I just think this is all a pipe dream. Obviously nothing I say will stop it from going forward, and I have no interest in stopping it from going forward. But I don't think there's a snowball's chance of Obama not becoming president over this.

i live in Baltimore County and listen to WCBM also (it is actually 680AM and can be heard on line); like you, i listened to Mr. Marr’s broadcast yesterday and my husband and i both don’t understand this...or what’s up with Les (Kinsolving) as he has been down in DC for the White House press conferences daily and has been posing questions there.
We think that maybe the Fairness Doctrine might be a concern for them (Tom & Les)...or maybe they are taking more of a guarded stance on the issue until word comes down from the courts. The word is getting around though as Lan (Lamphere) mentioned Les last week after his questions to Dana Perino...and Les is also mentioned in Lan’s blog (Overnight AM).Talk radio has taken a back seat in our house(just background noise)...we are now Free Republic addicts! goodnight all :)
