I pray for President Bush. An era is quickly coming to a close. History will judge this president differently than he is seen today. I believe it will be a mixed legacy, but mostly of a good President who led us through some of the most difficult times this nation has faced. For that, we pray that You would give him a well deserved rest. Guide him through the rest of the days of his administration. Keep him from missteps. And protect he and his family by Your power.
Go with us the rest of this day Lord. Bless the church services tonight. Bless our military. Bless Israel. Bless Free Republic. I pray all of these things in Jesus' mighty name, Amen.

Prayers up for our beloved President and his wonderful family!
A team of astronomers from the University of Minnesota say they have found a giant hole in the universe. The void they’ve discovered is in a region of sky southwest of Orion. The mysterious empty place has no galaxies, stars, or even dark matter. One of the astronomers said that the hole in the heavens is a billion light-years across.
When I try to capture the meaning of such immensity, something happens to me. The fight goes out of me. I don’t know what to do with my thoughts. Who can relate to the magnitude of such emptiness?
Then I remember what the Lord did with Job. He drew His suffering servant’s attention to the same part of the night sky. Using the region of the constellation Orion along with the wonders of the weather and the natural world, the Lord brought Job to the end of his reasonings and arguments (Job 38:31; 42:5-6).
In the presence of such wonder, I want to join Job in collapsing before the Lord in surrender to His inexpressible power and wisdom. I want to let go of my anxiety, my anger, and my resistance to the mysterious leading of God. I want to claim my only confidence as being in the immeasurable greatness of our God.
Amen.
Amen. Thank you ofr the season of thankfulness and holiness. Let us be thankful for Your love and salvation, and praise the name of Jesus, who was born to die for our sins.

Father we trust You for You alone are trustworthy!Nothing is out of Your sight and You see the mess this world is in. But we are called to be the light...help us not to fear but to use every opportunity to give testimony of You to those who are lost and in darkness.
I trust that You will send Your Spirit once more to revive righteousness and cause the enemy to be pushed back so that once more we will see a harvest of souls for Your kingdom. In Jesus name.
Please be with President Bush and his family and all the cabinet members to keep them safe and give them wisdom from You for the sake of this nation and the world in Jesus name.
