Dear Heavenly Father, The wicked are growing bolder and bolder. They hate that which is Godly and cling to evil. They try to destroy all that is good. Satan, through his work through them, has all talons and teeth bared for he knows his time is short. Even so, send Your Son soon, Lord. This world is becoming less and less home every day. We long for home.

Lord, today I saw how the United Nations is boldly going to have a day of solidarity for the Palestinians and against the Jews of Israel. It is not a "Christian" think to oppose Israel's existance but this is exactly what they are proclaiming. I don't know if Your plan for this nation is judgment or mercy at this particular point in time, but with stinking organizations such as this on our soil, it would appear the former is in view. Forgive our land for our lack of support for Your people at times. Among the world, we have been her one true friend; but we've been far too fickle in the friendship and far too willing to compromise her safety. Haven't always agreed with her leadership, but we pray blessings upon her and peace for the region.

I pray for President Bush. An era is quickly coming to a close. History will judge this president differently than he is seen today. I believe it will be a mixed legacy, but mostly of a good President who led us through some of the most difficult times this nation has faced. For that, we pray that You would give him a well deserved rest. Guide him through the rest of the days of his administration. Keep him from missteps. And protect he and his family by Your power.

Go with us the rest of this day Lord. Bless the church services tonight. Bless our military. Bless Israel. Bless Free Republic. I pray all of these things in Jesus' mighty name, Amen.
