The California secretary of state should refuse to allow the state's 55 Electoral College votes to be cast in the 2008 presidential election until President-elect Barack Obama verifies his eligibility to hold the office, alleges a California court petition filed on behalf of former presidential candidate Alan Keyes and others.
The legal action today is just the latest is a series of challenges, some of which have gone as high as the U.S. Supreme Court, over the issue of Obama's status as a "natural-born citizen," a requirement set by the U.S. Constitution.
WND senior reporter Jerome Corsi even traveled to Kenya and Hawaii prior to the election to investigate issues surrounding Obama's birth. But his research and discoveries only raised more questions.
The biggest question is why Obama, if a Hawaii birth certificate exists, simply hasn't ordered it made available to settle the rumors.

Uh...His paternal grandmother says she was at his birth in Kenya...and so do his half brother and sister.......
Just a coincidence? Why is the information so specific....He wasn't born in a mud hut in the middle of the jungle with a witch doctor present....
Has anyone in HI come forward to say they were present at this birth... Even his half sister gives two hospital as possibilities.
Interesting. If you want Social Security you have to produce your birth certificate. But, if you win election to the highest post in the world, President of the United State, you don’t have to.

This is not tinfoil hat stuff, but a huge breach of trust on the part of Mr. Obama. Even leftwing Camille Paglia, an Obama admirer and apologist declared on Salon that she felt “played and gamed” by his stonewalling.
With law suits and millions of people grumbling, nobody in his right mind would deny scrutiny of a document that is supposedly perfectly legit and reflects the issued COLB(s), unless he’s hiding something of national interest. Perhaps a foreign birth, perhaps a different father, or who knows what.
If it all turns out that he’s 100% A-OK, so what? The doubters eat crow. I’ll post some good Italian recipes: Corvo alla cacciatora, with the right kind of wines to drink with it.
He’s hiding something. But even if he isn’t, he owes it to the millions of people who doubt him to flash out the original and put the whole business behind him and us.
If the COLB is in doubt then it’s perfectly senseless to defend yourself with the COLB.
The doubters are not nutjobs... He can turn them into nutjobs by showing that his BC is in perfect order. In that case I too would call them nutjobs, just as I would call anyone doubting Bush’s birth certificate a nutjob.
But until he comes clean and says “voilà” here’s my original birth certificate I think the pressure should build and not diminish.
What’s being asked for is so simple, easy, unpainful, inexpensive, that common sense automatically arrives at the conclusion that he’s hiding something. There won’t be an anal probe, a lie detector test, cross-examination with old friends and enemies, a financial auditing... Nothing of the sort. Just the exhibition of something which citizens all over the world have absolutely no trouble showing... and even look at with fondness.

I believe the true patriots will emerge to stand for the truth. Our concern should not be for those who cannot understand the clear and present danger of not enforcing the eligibility requirements. The Constitution and the Republic must be defended.
Can you imagine anyone in his right mine not giving up his legal birth certificate because he wants to hide something like a different father, illegitimacy or things along that line?
No one would sacrifice the presidency for these relatively non-earthshaking facts.
No, I firmly believe he is hiding the document that will nullify his status as the next president of the U.S.A. Deductive reasoning eliminates other reasons and leaves the One Biggie standing alone.
