This is silly! A needless distraction that is diverting us from substance—like Obama’s plan to grab guns, compel Catholic hospitals to perform abortions,halt offshore drilling, and bail out the failed Big Three Auto business model. Obama’s mother was an American so he is a “natural born American”, place of birth notwithstanding. I know: one of my children was born abroad when I was out of the USA on a business assignment. He is just as much an American as my kids who were born here in the Good Ol’ USA—he did not have to be “naturalized.”

Untrue. According to the laws in place in 1961, at least one parent needed to live in the US for at least 5 years after the age of 14 in order to pass citizenship to a child born abroad. 0's 18yo mom was unable to do this.

As for all of the above ills in 0's plan, removing 0 from the running by declaring him ineligible is the best way to prevent every one of them. If 0 is sworn in, it will be difficult to impossible to prevent those measures from passing the rubber-stamp Congress.
