Constitutional crisis looming over Obama's birth location

The California secretary of state should refuse to allow the state's 55 Electoral College votes to be cast in the 2008 presidential election until President-elect Barack Obama verifies his eligibility to hold the office, alleges a California court petition filed on behalf of former presidential candidate Alan Keyes and others.

The legal action today is just the latest is a series of challenges, some of which have gone as high as the U.S. Supreme Court, over the issue of Obama's status as a "natural-born citizen," a requirement set by the U.S. Constitution.

WND senior reporter Jerome Corsi even traveled to Kenya and Hawaii prior to the election to investigate issues surrounding Obama's birth. But his research and discoveries only raised more questions.

The biggest question is why Obama, if a Hawaii birth certificate exists, simply hasn't ordered it made available to settle the rumors.

Wonder if they are talking about the case going before all the SC Justices on the 5th is being discussed over at DU. I never have been to that site and will never go there since many have told me what that site is like!

Bet they are going nuts about the posibility that “the one” might just not be sworn into office after all!

Those references refer only to a “child” not a child of two US citizens. But what those quotes do show is that aliens who have children in such circumstances do not birth US citizens which should also mean that Illegals should not be able to pass on citizenship to their children born here.

Nor do they change the fact that officers of the US do not see their children deprived of US citizenship if they happen to be born aboard.

Donofrio is full of it and working for the enemy.

I have nothing wrt to that to link or cite. I will say that it makes no sense to believe that merely traveling on another passport deprives one of citizenship. Look at the case of a family from Indonesia with a US citizen child if the family travelled it would have to use Indonesian passports including the child. It isn’t like he could just go to an embassy and receive a US passport.

The Founders concept of loyalties is the best proof that children of military/diplomatic officers born aboard are indeed Natural born citizens. There would be no divided loyalties in such cases merely because of being born outside the US.

While those concepts apertaining to a King were not relevant to a Republic often a mere substitution is involved replacing King or Kingdom with State. And it is also a fact that Blackstone was the most relevant piece of legal doctrine in the early republic particularly as for as legal theory goes.

a. It has never been determined definitively by a court whether a person
who acquired U.S. citizenship by birth abroad to U.S. citizens is a naturalborn
citizen within the meaning of Article II of the Constitution and,
therefore, eligible for the Presidency.
b. Section 1, Article II, of the Constitution states, in relevant part that “No
Person except a natural born Citizen...shall be eligible for the Office of
President;”
c. The Constitution does not define “natural born”. The “Act to establish an
Uniform Rule of Naturalization”, enacted March 26, 1790, (1 Stat.
103,104) provided that, “...the children of citizens of the United States,
that may be born ... out of the limits of the United States, shall be
considered as natural born citizens: Provided that the right of citizenship
shall not descend to persons whose fathers have never been resident in
the United States.”

First: I disagree with you that Donofrio is full of it, and second: I disagree with you that Donofrio is working for the enemy.

Instead of toiling in the trenches as a keyboard commando, Donofrio is DOING SOMETHING about the illegitimacy of Obama.

Perhaps, the USSC will define further (as is their duty) what the requirements for Presidency are, specific to the natural born citizen factor.

During the last few minutes of the broadcast, someone on the show says he has a friend in Hawaii who works as a title researcher who has seen the vault copy bc. He said the bc indicates obama was born in Kenya.
He is asked by the lawyer (Gary Kreep) if the friend would be a witness.
He says he would ask him.

Gary Kreep (Key’s lawyer) said we can help by
donations, spreading the word about the bc suit, and by emailing Debra Bowen, Sec. of State in Sacramento.
He asked that we not mention the suit or the attorneys or Keys. Ask her to uphold the constitution, do her job and be sure Obama is a citizen of the U.S.

I think he is full of love for our Republic and for our Constitution and is working to make sure our Constution is upheld. I would call that working for all Americans and fighting against those who would limit our freedoms by trashing our Constitution.

A title researcher may have seen the BC, but wouldn’t be entitled to see it, therefore, the testimony would be ‘tainted’... I doubt if the court would hear the witness.

Either place of birth or name of father other than Obama Sr.
