The California secretary of state should refuse to allow the state's 55 Electoral College votes to be cast in the 2008 presidential election until President-elect Barack Obama verifies his eligibility to hold the office, alleges a California court petition filed on behalf of former presidential candidate Alan Keyes and others.
The legal action today is just the latest is a series of challenges, some of which have gone as high as the U.S. Supreme Court, over the issue of Obama's status as a "natural-born citizen," a requirement set by the U.S. Constitution.
WND senior reporter Jerome Corsi even traveled to Kenya and Hawaii prior to the election to investigate issues surrounding Obama's birth. But his research and discoveries only raised more questions.
The biggest question is why Obama, if a Hawaii birth certificate exists, simply hasn't ordered it made available to settle the rumors.

That depends on how SCOTUS rules (if they take the case) ...
If they rule the election null and void, they could order a new election (with certified candidates) - OYYY VEYYY !!!
But, if they rule that ONLY Obama’s eligibility is null and void, HE would be DQ’d AND HIS electors (the ones about to be certified) WOULD ALSO be DQ’d. AND, ALL popular votes for Obama would be DQ’d.
The election would then be counted as if Obama was NEVER on the ballot. McCain would then win the popular vote, HIS electors would be certified, and (presumably) they would vote for McCain.
Biden WOULD NOT get Obama’s popular votes or his electors for POTUS - since he WAS NOT on the ballot for POTUS. But, HE MIGHT get the VP slot - since he was qualified and was on the ballot for VP.
Wasn’t it interesting how quickly video surfaced that outed the “sniper fire” lie, but ABSOLUTELY NOTHING ABOUT OBAMA HAS BEEN INVESTIGATED BY THE MEDIA. NOTHING NOTHING NOTHING.
No one is hiding information about his birth, I made that clear.
That would be AMAZING and I personally don’t think that it’s out of the question. McCain / Palin could still win this! ..... I still don’t believe the count with all the corruption associated with ACORN.

Congressional Resolutions are passed in Congress so that they can be stacked up in the bathrooms in case they run out of TP !!!
CRs have NO effect or force of law. They ARE NOT the law of the land and they DO NOT supplant the provisions for amending the Constitution.
Res. #511 was a BOGUS attempt to provide the DEMS “cover” in case this controversy ever arose ... good thing it DID NOT pass.

There is no authority of the SC to rule this election null and void. There is a Constitutional process in place (12th and 20th amendments) which specify what is to happen if a President elect fails to “qualify” and is ineligible for the office.
From what I can see the ultimate authority in a case like this is the state certifying authorities for the Electoral votes and the Joint session of Congress which receives and reviews them. I doubt that the SC has the authority to rule that votes to him do not count. The constitution does not say that an unqualified person cannot run for president or cannot even win the election. It just says he may not be eligible for the office of president.
I really have to disagree with you, if it was all about making a buck, then Sarah would be on a lot more often. These people are about change, the Obama way, Period.
The heading at the top of the column in one paper reads “Health Bureau Statistics.” The papers did not gather statistics from other countries.
Yeah, but since births in other countries COULD be registered in Hawaii at that time, those WOULD be listed in the paper ...
The paper makes NO distinction between natural born births and births from overseas that were registered ...
He has hidden his records in the Illinois legislature as well. The man is fiction through and through.

The truth most of these sycophantic agitprops work so hard to avoid is the reality that by Obama avoiding to prove his eligibility to the voters, he is aiding and abetting the build up of tensions which will tear this nation apart if he is eventually shown to be ineligible. Pause to consider for a minute what it means about a man who so arrogantly doesn't give a damn that his army of lawyers working to prevent his eligibility iussues from being aired for the public are developing tensions that he could prevent with a simple $10 copy of the original on file in Hawaii. He may eventually provide such a documewnt, but what does it say about a prick who doesn't give a damn if his stonewalling is tearing the social fabric to shreds.

I'm not trying to hide my disgust for this poster nor be subtle. The usual whine will now spew forth 'that she isn't insulting anyone, and is only looking for the reasonable discussion to discover fatcs.' There are in fact NO FACTS which will alter the goal to fulfill the two listed above. But that's just the way it is on an open forum site.

I’m afraid you are right—the terrific upheaval resulting from the lawful decision may scare them away from upholding the Law and they can refuse to hear the case. this is scary as hell.
I just call myself a Constitutional Patriot since conservatism is not really an accurate description of the Right. Conservatives do not what to conserve what should be changed and are not dead set against necessary changes for society. What used to be called a classical liberal is more what today’s conservatives believe. It is as much Collectivism vs Individualism as anything.
