Constitutional crisis looming over Obama's birth location
World Net Daily ^ | 11/14/08 | Bob Unruh

The California secretary of state should refuse to allow the state's 55 Electoral College votes to be cast in the 2008 presidential election until President-elect Barack Obama verifies his eligibility to hold the office, alleges a California court petition filed on behalf of former presidential candidate Alan Keyes and others.

The legal action today is just the latest is a series of challenges, some of which have gone as high as the U.S. Supreme Court, over the issue of Obama's status as a "natural-born citizen," a requirement set by the U.S. Constitution.

WND senior reporter Jerome Corsi even traveled to Kenya and Hawaii prior to the election to investigate issues surrounding Obama's birth. But his research and discoveries only raised more questions.

The biggest question is why Obama, if a Hawaii birth certificate exists, simply hasn't ordered it made available to settle the rumors.

I know, the time warping side to this is part of the interest value!

She kept right on travelling too as did both of her offspring! While Jr was living in HI he visited his mother each Christmas and summer while she was living in Indonesia. Maya also went to Punahou for four years. Jr also spent those three weeks in Pakistan in 1981 so where did all the money come from?

Sorry, I was going backwards in my pings—

Did it say what? The birth announcement? It was a simple announcement in the local paper, just parents and date.

Well, first of all, I’m really not standing in anyone’s way, since this in in cyberspace . . . *grin*

I consider the source of this, I don’t think Berg is really reliable and, as I read the facts, Obama was born to an American mother so that ends it.

Of course we are all entitled to our own interpretation. Go for it folks, I support your efforts if you believe and will stand in line to find out what comes of the whole thing!

I seen that too. That would be killer!

What about the Mormons? Would they have any useful records? They are obsessive compulsive about genealogy. Just wondering...

O’s mother sure does sound like a real piece of work. She certainly didn’t live the life of a typical 60’s teenager. I guess I led a really sheltered life and had really square parents. I’m a little younger than she would be now and I can’t even imagine hopping around the world the way she did back then.

Two things—Obama was born to an American mother so I feel he could be born on the moon (and may have been, we shall wait and see) and be a citizen.

Berg, who brought the suit, is a 9-11 truther an a Hillary supporter so he lacks credibility for me.

And third (see, a little Biden joke): I do believe what he released is sufficient, as per Hawaii law.

Hey, I know you disagree, I’m going to follow this anyway because it’s fascinating.

I asked my neighbor (who is a Mormon) who can submit information for their website and she told me anyone could. When I went to Family Search and entered the relevant information what it displayed didn’t seem quite right so I googled the name of the person who provided it, one David A. Larson. Googling I discovered that David A. Larson is an architect in Chicago. The records subitted to the Mormons are only as accurate as the research of the person who submitted them. I have found numerous instances of information in this case which do not concur with the “official” story, when such articles have not suddenly disappeared!

My question to you: Do you think that there will always be some who will question the validity of ANY birth proof he releases? There are some that still question 9-11, etc. At what point is enough, enough?

Hmm, never really been thought of as a moderate! Do you really think only moderates don’t believe this?

From articles on the web she lived an unconventional life because her parents, their friends etc. provided her with that alternate lifestyle, Communism. They were dedicated. Where the money came from is a mystery... Mr&Mrs D must have had opposing emotions when she told them she was pregnant by a black man, the party line approved this but society in general did not so they moved her to Hawaii.

I didn’t mean to imply it would have been quick, just that they could have started the process.

There is no reason to want Obama natural born instead of naturalized except as it relates to his presidential eligibility. And though we all have dreams for our kids, I doubt they were thinking quite so loftily in 1961.

According to this thread, I have not done any further research, the address does not relate in any way to Obama’s family.

I think this is a fascinating topic, and I didn’t realize you had to agree with everyone on a thread to contribute.

I’m looking around for information about this and the people here are nothing if not well informed.

I did answer that question; because I believe the birth certificate is legit, I believe that he was born in Hawaii. I also believe his mother was an American citizen. Therefore, I don’t see that there is a Constitutional issue.

Of course, for those of you that believe otherwise, it IS a constitutional issue. I see that.
