“Their collection methods and insight have turned the tide against Al-Qaeda in Iraq” Really? How come we haven’t heard this at all, and why did it take them so long? I’ve read pretty much every where that it was getting the Sunnis involved, Sons of Iraq, etc. combined with the surge strategy. I haven’t heard any credit given to the CIA and it makes no sense to me why they suddenly turned things around at the exact same time the political environment changed there in that the Iraqis turned on Al qeada and we sent in tens of thousands of more troops. Obviously you had a first hand perspective, but this just doesn’t make sense to me.

Hate to disappoint. The popcorn will be boring. Anyone who tells me that the stupid CIA hasn’t gone completely over to the left RAT sewer is kidding themselves.

I agree that there are fine daggone patriots putting their lives on the line for the CIA every day, people who love their country and don’t toe the leftist line. But they don’t run the place, and they either do what the leftist leadership wants, or they are ushered to inconsequence.

There’s a lot of water under the bridge now. But January 2001 should have been the beginning of “purification” at Langley. It wasn’t, and now we are screwed.

So, have a nice day.

“CLINTON: Good evening.

Earlier today, I ordered America’s armed forces to strike military and security targets in Iraq. They are joined by British forces. Their mission is to attack Iraq’s nuclear, chemical and biological weapons programs and its military capacity to threaten its neighbors.

The hard fact is that so long as Saddam remains in power, he threatens the well-being of his people, the peace of his region, the security of the world.

The best way to end that threat once and for all is with a new Iraqi government — a government ready to live in peace with its neighbors, a government that respects the rights of its people.”

Saddam was in a country of enemies he created. Bin Laden moves between two countries in which he’s a hero.

There are a lot of hard working Men and Women at the CIA that are doing extraordinary things for the American people. Their collection methods and insight have turned the tide against Al-Qaeda in Iraq. They were instrumental in the fight for Baghdad and provided as much if not too much information to the average soldier on the ground. I have nothing but good things to say about the things the Agency did for us in Iraq.

thank you for your (& the other patriots') efforts, unfortunately there's are traitors/liberals working against the enemies of terrorism
....the few (5%) always gives the many (95%) a bad reputation.

I’m not trying to be a RHINO, but having served in Iraq, and worked with and around the intelligence community one has to wonder why Afghanistan and Pakistan was still not the main effort for the WoT...

Because Iraq would be the proper place, if your strategic goal was to deal with Iran...

I can’t claim any secret knowledge of our plans for the war. But my personal belief is that the whole thing has been allowing a huge amount of young people to grow up without the foot of the extremists quite so heavy on their throat. Now hopefully when we do leave they will not like being under someone elses foot, and there will be enough that grew up with a taste for some freedoms, and they will organize and fight to keep it.

““This is fueling the fire for Obama to invade Pakistan.”

Won’t that cause a massive collective stroke for the “anti-war” libs?

Didn’t Judas promise them he’d “end the war now!”?

I’d be willing to bet he gets us into a ‘war to end all wars”...and possibly all life on earth.

Clintons entrenched “intelligence community” continues to undermine our current President. No surprise at this. Imho Obama was dust long long ago.
