I saved a bunch of P-38s from way back. When I returned to civilian life I started sharing a few with some folks who probably did not appreciate them.
I ended up with just 1 for myself. I have it in a safe place. Not on my key chain. In a way that might seem rather convoluted.
My Swiss Army knife fell apart years ago, but that little piece of steel is still ticking.

I used to work with a lady whose Son was in the 101st Airborne during Desert Storm. He said they were way out in the middle of nowhere working beside the French Foreign Legion.
As they were getting ready for their meal, they noticed the French were about to be fed a real feast. The American Lieutenant went over and talked to the French. He came back and the two units swapped meals. He said the French meal was great. The fascinating thing is the French thought the MREs were good.
