I'm sorry for the vanity, but I'm really tired of sitting around complaining and I want to join a group to try to have an effect on upcoming elections, especially after seeing Sarah on Greta's show. I want to support Sarah and candidates like her. Dick Morris has touted The National Republican Trust, are there any other organizations out there I can support as far as time and some money goes? For the moment I'm done giving to the RNC, I'm kind of mad at how Sarah has been treated and would rather contribute elsewhere if possible to help out real conservative candidates, not Washington pinky out when drinking tea RINO's. I don't want to rule out not giving to the RNC in the future, but right now I'm mad.
How about your local FR chapter. And if there’s not one in your area, forming one?
Yeah join the NRA, that way when Obama wants to start collecting weapons he’s got a head start on the hardcore.
We need a new Conservative PArty so we will have a political home and a platform for enacting the things we hold dear.
The GOP is done. tired. worn out, and infested with RINOs who will only change when they shed their mortal coil.
What should with name it?
How about The Prosperity Party?
Pro-Life
Pro-Gun
Pro-Energy Independence
Pro-Income Tax Reform
Pro-Property Rights
I mean, the very name would attract people. Who would be against prosperity?
Time for a new start, a new vison, and a new political brand.
Let the GOP go the way of the Whigs. They have pissed on conservatives one too many times.
And now we have a Marxist about to assume the Presidency, with an America hating Congress majority in both houses ready to enact his programs.
Thanks, RINOs!
The Prosperity Party—Change You Can Prosper With!
Isn't GOA (Gun Owners of America) more "hardcore" than the NRA?
Gun Owners of America
Jews for the Preservation of Firearm Ownership (you don’t have to be Jewish)
American Center for Law and Justice
Liberty Counsel
I really do agree. The GOP has way too much baggage and poseurs.
The New Republican Party?
I think the most hardcore gun owners would be the ones that would go through all their ammo shooting at the people trying to confiscate them.

I have some involvement with my town, but that’s all, not at the county level. And what’s bothering me is the fact that at 1 time my county was heavily Republican, not anymore though, Bush beat Kerry in our county by 15%, McCain beat Obama by a little less then 10%.
My suggestion: run for an elected office. Might you lose? Yes. Might you win? Yes. It is not good enough to just vote - conservatives need to run for these offices. Because if we do not, we will continue to get more of the same liberal idiotic policies.
So run!!!
As they challenge why certain candidates of issues candidates are treated differently they can also educate. It could be quite a powerful and interesting group. Heck I would start it if I had PR type conservative friends or at least outline the goal and objectives and start out small. It will need a variety of people from different fields and backgrounds. Just some thoughts. Speaking of communication I hope I have articulated my vision or thoughts on this new group well--LOL.
It’s good to know about these various organizations.
Just throwing in:
There’s Joe the Plumber’s website: http://www.secureourdream.com
He’s putting his dreams of a plumbing business on hold to become a government watchdog.
NumbersUSA.com has an anti-illegal immigration bent. They are currently sponsoring a petition to Obama asking him to reject amnesty as an option.
I think the name “Republican” is a now a fatally tarnished brand name.
The GOP has really lost its way. We conservatives saved it in 1980-1989 and George H.W. Bush squandered it and we got Clinton for 4 years.
We saved the Party in 1994, and then the GOP ran Dole and we got Clinton for four more years—and these were the most damaging years. The GOP House impeached Clinton in 1998 but the GOP Senate refused in 1999 to follow their Constitutional duty to put on a real trial.
Then we saved the 2000 and 2004 elections for George Bush the Younger. So the GOP rewarded us by giving us McCain as the candidate, and now we have a Marxist in the White House come 1/20/09.
My position is that we need to leave “Republican” behind-totally. They are losers and they liked their perks and corruption more than the country itself. The 2006 elections were a timely warning to the GOP and so was the vote fraud in 2000 and 2004.
History shows what they did with the warnings.
So why waste time with them any longer.
I would be skeptical of donating to any organization that Dick Morris is pitching.
All the more reason to get involved. And you’ll get to meet the greatest people, and have a lot of fun while you work to make a better community and country.

I think we can join as many groups as we want, but we do need 1 main group that we’re all a part of where we can counter the obvious bias of the media with strength in numbers.
The biggest unchecked power in this country is the media. I seriously think that it is time for all of us to put the media in check. We need to defend this country from those who want take away our freedoms. The meida is the enemy of freedom and a weapon of the left wing... Just think about how many conservative politicians have been taken out by the left wing media..and we did nothing..The time for kowtowing is over... my $.10 cent rant for the day.. sorry for spewing my anger on this board..
I’ve been looking at www.grassfire.org I checked them out a few years ago then didnt hear from them for a while. I sent them a couple bucks this week. they seem to be getting active again.
