Rahm Emanual's Big Plan for America

Posted on 11/10/2008 12:54:28 PM PST by Candybar

Okay. Here's what Obama's Chief of Staff has planned for you!

UNIVERSAL CITIZEN SERVICE

All Americans between 18 and 25 should serve their country by reporting for 3 months' of basic civil defense training and community service.

UNIVERSAL COLLEGE ACCESS

The Government should give the states tuition grants to make college free. A College Tuition Grant of $3,000 per year, fully refundable and available for 4 years of college and 2 years of graduate school, should be made available.

UNIVERSAL RETIREMENT SAVINGS

Employers should be required to offer 401 (k)'s to all workers. Workers must be enrolled unless they choose otherwise. Plans would be portable. Savings would go up as workers' paychecks go up. The Government would provide a 50% matching contribution up to $2,000 per year for individuals earning up to $30,000 and couples up to $60,000.

UNIVERSAL CHILDREN'S HEALTH CARE

Cut costs to make it affordable. Give small business access to the same health plans as members of Congress.

RETURN TO FISCAL RESPONSIBILITY

End corporate welfare.

TAX REFORM TO HELP BUILD WEALTH

A maximum effective tax rate of 10% for families earning under $100,000 per year. Four Superincentives: 1) a $3,000 refundable tax credit, 2) a universal mortgage deduction, 3) a simplified family credit for families with children, 4) a universal pension that replaces all exisitng IRA-type accounts.

STRATEGY TO WIN THE WAR ON TERROR

Reform and strengthen multilateral institutions. Add to the Special Forces and the Marines; expand the Army by 100,000 troops. Give our troops a new G.I. Bill. Create a new domestic counterterrorism force like Britain's M15.

A Hybrid Economy

Cut American gasoline use in half over the next decade. Accelerate energy research; embrace the plug-in hybrid auto. End our dependence on Middle-Eastern oil.

Well, how do you like it?

This will prepare them to be taxpayers where we work for 5-6 months for the government with no pay.

I’m sure it will work to perfection. Don’t all government plans work exactly as designed and under budget?

The three most scary things about the Obama presidency:

1. The economic crisis giving them an excuse to further globalize world finance (e.g. world banksters controlling the world economy like a puppet).

2. Plugs Biden’s “generated crisis” giving them an excuse for a power grab that would make GWB’s Patriot Act and other such legislation seem like kindergarten.

3. The draft and/or forced youth labor under the Orwellian title of “Universal National Service”

And it’s supposed to cover the cost of grad school too, LOL. They need to check into the cost of a credit hour at colleges/universities so they can get a handle on reality.

...or a high powered lap top computer...they’re mandatory now at a lot of schools.

How in the world are you going to cut American gasoline use in half over the next decade?

As for ending corporate welfare, if that is what I think it is its following Saul Alinsky to the letter.

From:

http://www.discoverthenetworks.org/Articles/theclowardpivenstrategypoe.html

“They’ll be more people, (mostly because we will let in illegal aliens by the droves). In their 1966 article, Cloward and Piven charged that the ruling classes used welfare to weaken the poor; that by providing a social safety net, the rich doused the fires of rebellion. Poor people can advance only when “the rest of society is afraid of them,” Cloward told The New York Times on September 27, 1970. Rather than placating the poor with government hand-outs, wrote Cloward and Piven, activists should work to sabotage and destroy the welfare system; the collapse of the welfare state would ignite a political and financial crisis that would rock the nation; poor people would rise in revolt; only then would “the rest of society” accept their demands.

The key to sparking this rebellion would be to expose the inadequacy of the welfare state. Cloward-Piven’s early promoters cited radical organizer Saul Alinsky as their inspiration. “Make the enemy live up to their (sic) own book of rules,” Alinsky wrote in his 1989 book Rules for Radicals. When pressed to honor every word of every law and statute, every Judaeo-Christian moral tenet, and every implicit promise of the liberal social contract, human agencies inevitably fall short. The system’s failure to “live up” to its rule book can then be used to discredit it altogether, and to replace the capitalist “rule book” with a socialist one.”

College tuition grant of $3000? Expect college tuitions and fees to rise by $3000 as soon as implemented.

I have to admit a certain perverse pleasure from this one. I really like the idea of all those smartass kids who voted for Obama finding out he's going to force them to do national service.

I just checked. Room (only) costs $6,060 per year at Harvard. If you want to eat that costs, $4,982 more.

And all of it, except fiscal responsibility and the part about strengthening the military (neither of which they really intend to do), is unconstitutional, unnecessary, unwanted and un-American!

You know what Rahm? I would prefer to go work for a government agency such as Fannie Mae or Freddie Mac, and then weasel an $18 million severance package after only working for a few years. You can have the rest of your agenda, I would just like the $18 million that you took.

The new socialism:

Scarlett Johnansson makes her physical charms available to all.....

Now there’s socialism with a human face......

All left-liberal stars must share their bodies (if desireable) and their money. Everyone should put out for the democratization of money and hedonism — no more selfishness!!

I’m sure that all of Hollyweird will be ready to put out: share the wealth and share the goodies, folks!!
